Location

The resort is located on the island of Falhumaafushi in the Gaafu Alifu Atoll and is connected to The Residence Dhigurah by a jetty. Transfer from the airport is by domestic flight (approx. 55 minutes) and speedboat (approx. 7 minutes).

The Residence Falhumaafushi has a total of 97 luxuriously appointed villas. Facilities include an open reception area with a lounge, as well as a boutique and a souvenir shop. For your culinary well-being, there are a total of two restaurants, the "The Dining Room" restaurant with international cuisine, and the "The Falhumaa" overwater restaurant. Enjoy cool refreshments and exotic cocktails at a total of three bars. The infinity pool with a view of the Indian Ocean is located directly on the beach. The house reef allows you to optimally explore the breathtaking underwater world of the Gaafu Alifu Atoll. Sun loungers and sun umbrellas are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach.

The Beach Villas are approx. 85 m² and have a bathroom with shower/WC, bathrobes/slippers, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe, LED TV, DVD player, telephone, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker and a furnished terrace. Water Villa

With the same amenities as the Beach Villa, the Water Villa is smaller (approx. 84 m²), built on stilts over the water and has direct access to the sea. (W2V) For an extra charge, also bookable as a Water Pool Villa. (WVP)

Deluxe Water Villa with Pool

With the same amenities as the Beach Villa, the Deluxe Water Villa with Pool is larger (approx. 182 m²) and also includes a living room and a private pool. (2DW)

Speedboat: Operation for estimated arrival/departure from 5 am to 11 pm // Domestic flight: Operation estimated for arrivals/departures from 9:30 am to 4 pm // Seaplane: Operation expected for arrivals/departures from 9 am to 3 pm.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
There may be 1-2 stopovers on seaplane transfers.
For arrivals/departures outside the above times, in case of bad weather or long waiting times upon entry, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.

In the Maldives, sinks or bathtubs/whirlpools may be openly integrated into the general living area of the hotel room without a spatial separation.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For a double occupancy with 1 or 2 children, there may be only 1 or 2 large beds available in total. Accordingly, it is possible that with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room, one child must sleep in the parents' bed! An extra bed cannot be guaranteed in advance and will be allocated on site subject to availability.
