Location

The resort is located on the island of Falhumaafushi in the Gaafu Alifu Atoll and is connected to The Residence Dhigurah via a bridge. The transfer from the airport is by domestic flight (approx. 55 minutes) and speedboat (approx. 7 minutes).

The Residence Falhumaafushi features a total of 97 luxuriously furnished villas. Amenities include an open reception area with a front desk and seating, as well as a boutique and a souvenir shop. Two restaurants provide for guests' culinary needs: "The Dining Room" restaurant, which serves international cuisine, and "The Falhumaa" overwater restaurant. Enjoy cool refreshments and exotic cocktails at a total of three bars. The infinity pool with views of the Indian Ocean is located directly on the beach. The house reef allows for optimal exploration of the breathtaking underwater world of the Gaafu Alifu Atoll. Sun loungers and parasols are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach.

Beach Villa

The Beach Villas are approx. 85 m² and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, bathrobes/slippers, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe, LED-TV, DVD player, telephone, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, and a furnished terrace. (2BV) Also bookable as a Beach Pool Villa with private pool for an additional charge. (VPZ) Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booked into these room types.

Water Villa

With the same facilities as the Beach Villa, the Water Villa is smaller (approx. 84 m²), built on stilts over the water, and has direct access to the sea (W2V). Also bookable as a Water Villa with Pool for an additional charge (WVP).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booked into these room types.

Deluxe Water Villa

With the same facilities as the Beach Villa, the Deluxe Water Villa is larger (approx. 182 m²) and additionally features a living room and a private pool. (2DW)

Breakfast with sparkling wine and an extensive international selection in the main restaurant, “The Dining Room”. Lunch and dinner as part of the Dine-Around concept in selected restaurants (reservations may be required). Selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, draft beer, house wine by the glass, spirits, cocktails, juices, tea, coffee, water, and ice cream during meals in the restaurants, as well as from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the currently open bar. Daily restocking of the minibar with beer, juices, soft drinks, and snacks. Additionally, one house reef briefing per stay is included.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, it is possible that only 1 or 2 large beds are available in total. Accordingly, it may happen that with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room, one child must sleep in the parents' bed! An extra bed cannot be guaranteed in advance and is provided on-site subject to availability.
