Location

The relatively large palm-covered island (approx. 600 x 400 m) belongs to the North Male Atoll and is surrounded by a beautiful white sandy beach. For snorkelers and divers, the colorful and species-rich underwater world of the house reef, located 40-60 m away, guarantees impressive experiences. The outer reef is about 25 minutes away by boat. The transfer time from Male airport is approximately 15 minutes by speedboat.

Facilities

Popular with German guests for many years, the island offers 220 rooms grouped around the island. The reception area is located near the boat jetty. Amenities at this traditional resort include a buffet restaurant, the à-la-carte "Umi Yaki" restaurant with live cooking and a sea view, the "SeaBreeze" coffee shop (open 24h), the "Huvan Bar," as well as other bars, a souvenir shop, and a jeweler. A path through the well-maintained tropical garden leads past the beautiful swimming pool to the "Sand Bar" and the à-la-carte restaurants with terraces, which offer magnificent views over the lagoon. Sun loungers and cushions are available at the pool free of charge.

Standard Beachfront Room

The spacious, locally styled rooms (approx. 38 m²) are located in row bungalows with four units each and feature a visually separated living and sleeping area, shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, safe, satellite TV, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, and a furnished terrace (D).

Deluxe Beachfront Room

Located in bungalows with two units each, these rooms offer the same facilities but are more spacious (approx. 54 m²) and additionally feature a bathtub as well as a ceiling fan (DD2).

Superior Villa

Similar to the double rooms, but larger (approx. 40 m²), these are located in a two-story building with 8 units, four on the ground floor and four on the first floor, each with its own balcony/terrace (VSU).

Beach Villa

Beach Villas offer the same facilities as the double rooms but are larger (approx. 40 m²) and additionally feature an outdoor shower, bathtub, and furnished terrace with direct beach access (2BV). Can also be booked with a private pool until 31.10.26 (VPZ).

Premium Beach Villa

With the same facilities as the double rooms, these are located in two-story villas (approx. 109 m²) in the south of the island and additionally feature a whirlpool on the lower floor (VE2).

Sunset Water Pool Villa

Larger (approx. 83 m²) with the same facilities as the double rooms and located on stilts over the water. The Sunset Water Pool Villas additionally feature a private pool and a whirlpool bathtub (W2Z).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased safety risk for young children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booking these room types.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet form in the main restaurant "Gallery." Selected drinks, classic & signature cocktails, selected mocktails, soft drinks, draft beer, selection of coffee/tea/iced tea, house spirits, selected smoothies, and house wine at the bars when open.
Afternoon tea, coffee, and snacks are served from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at "Sea Breeze." In addition to All Inclusive, guests receive rental of stand-up paddles, windsurfing equipment, and canoes (2 hours daily, no instruction, subject to availability).

Not included in All Inclusive

Freshly squeezed juices, premium spirits, liquors, selected wines, sparkling wine, and cocktails, as well as room service and drinks for private dinners, are not included in the All Inclusive package.

Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfers are possible.
Seaplane transfers may include 1–2 intermediate stops.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Male must be booked in advance. The costs for this must be borne by the guest. Exceptions apply for changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times at immigration (in which case our local agency will assist with a potential overnight stay).

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. With an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be a total of 1 or 2 large beds available.
