Location

The relatively large palm-fringed island (approx. 600 x 400 m) belongs to the North Male Atoll and is surrounded by a beautiful white sandy beach. For snorkelers and divers, the colorful and species-rich underwater world of the house reef, located 40-60 m away, guarantees impressive experiences. The outer reef is about 25 minutes away by boat. The transfer time from Male airport is approximately 15 minutes by speedboat.

Facilities

This island, popular with German guests for many years, offers 220 rooms grouped around the island. The reception area is located near the boat jetty. Amenities at this long-standing resort include a buffet restaurant, the "Umi Yaki" à la carte restaurant with live cooking and sea views, the "SeaBreeze" coffee shop (open 24/7), the "Huvan Bar," and other bars, a souvenir shop, and a jeweler. The path through the well-maintained tropical gardens leads past the beautiful swimming pool to the "Sand Bar" and the à la carte restaurants with terraces, which offer magnificent views over the lagoon. Sun loungers and pads are available free of charge by the pool.

Accommodation

Standard Beachfront Room

The spacious rooms (approx. 38 m²), decorated in a local style, are located in row bungalows with four units each. They feature a visually separated living and sleeping area, as well as a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, safe, satellite TV, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, and a furnished terrace (D).

Deluxe Beachfront Room

Located in bungalows with two units each, these rooms are more spacious (approx. 54 m²) with the same amenities and additionally feature a bathtub and a ceiling fan (DD2).

Superior Villa

Similar to the double rooms but larger (approx. 40 m²), these are located in a two-story building with 8 units, four on the ground floor and four on the first floor, each with its own balcony/terrace (VSU).

Beach Villa

The Beach Villas are larger (approx. 40 m²) with the same amenities as the double rooms, and additionally feature an outdoor shower, bathtub, and a furnished terrace with direct beach access (2BV). Can also be booked with a private pool until 31.10.26 (VPZ).

Premium Beach Villa

Located in two-story villas (approx. 109m²) in the south of the island with the same amenities as the double rooms, they additionally feature a whirlpool on the lower floor (VE2).

Sunset Water Pool Villa

Larger (approx. 83 m²) with the same amenities as the double rooms, these are located on stilts over the water. Additionally, the Sunset Water Pool Villas feature a private pool and a whirlpool bathtub (W2Z).
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for young children. Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style at the main "Gallery" restaurant. Selected drinks including classic & signature cocktails, selected mocktails, soft drinks, chilled juices, draft beer, selection of coffee/tea/iced tea, house spirits, selected smoothies, and house wine at the bars when open.
Afternoon tea, coffee, and snacks are served from 3:30 PM to 5 PM at the "Sea Breeze." Additionally, All Inclusive includes the rental of stand-up paddles, windsurfing, and canoe equipment (2 hours daily, excluding instruction and subject to availability).

Not included in All Inclusive

Freshly squeezed juices, premium spirits, liquors, selected wines, sparkling wine, and cocktails, as well as room service and drinks for private dinners, are not included in the All Inclusive package.

Waiting times of 3 hours or more for the onward transfer are possible.
Seaplane transfers may include 1–2 stopovers.
For arrivals/departures outside these times, an overnight stay in Male must be booked in advance. The costs for this must be borne by the guest. Exceptions are changes due to flight delays, bad weather, or long waiting times upon entry (in these cases, our local agency will take care of any necessary overnight stay).

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be a total of 1 or 2 large beds available. All flight transfers as well as most boat transfers (depending on the location of the island) are carried out only during daylight hours. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male (near the airport) may be necessary.

The baggage allowance for seaplanes is 20 kg + 3 kg of hand luggage per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on-site (approx. 5 USD per kg). Excess baggage is usually delivered by boat later.

In the Maldives, sinks or even bathtubs/whirlpools can be integrated openly without spatial separation in the general living area of the hotel room.
