Location

This resort is located near Kardamena with a magnificent view of the island of Nisyros. Situated directly on the gently sloping sand/pebble beach, where there is a small marina. In the town of Kardamena, approx. 3.5 km away, there are entertainment and shopping options such as bars, tavernas, and nightclubs. Kos Town is approx. 30 km away and it is about 9 km to the airport. Due to the proximity to the airport, occasional noise disturbances may occur. A bus stop is located approx. 450 m away.

The Porto Bello Royal is a comfortable resort featuring Mediterranean architecture with multi-story annex and bungalow buildings. The complex has a total of 418 rooms and is surrounded by a spacious pool and lagoon landscape that winds harmoniously through the entire resort.
In the elegant main building, you will find a spacious reception area with a 24-hour front desk, a lobby with a lounge bar and terrace, cozy seating areas, and an elevator. The facilities are complemented by a mini-market and a boutique. Culinary variety is provided by the main restaurant with an outdoor terrace, the "Burger Project," an Italian restaurant for dinner, a Greek taverna, a Mediterranean restaurant for lunch (each requires reservation), and the "Gelateria" ice cream bar. For relaxation, an indoor whirlpool and an indoor pool are available, the latter exclusively for adults.
The outdoor area offers spacious sun terraces with several saltwater pools, a separate children's pool, two whirlpools, as well as a pool and beach bar. Sun loungers, parasols, and pool towels are included at the pools and on the beach. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel complex.
The water park at the sister hotel Porto Bello Beach (KGS065) can also be used for an additional fee.

Note regarding climate resilience fee

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax.
