Location

The family-friendly hotel complex is situated in a quiet area, about 4 km outside of Kardamena, located directly on the sandy beach. Numerous restaurants and shopping facilities can be found in Kardamena.
Kos Town is approximately 40 km away. A public bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel; the airport is approx. 11 km away.

Facilities

The 5-star hotel consists of 426 rooms, which are divided among several bungalow-style buildings. It also features a 24-hour reception, a buffet restaurant, several specialty restaurants, and six bars. A mini-market and a souvenir shop are also available.
In the outdoor area, you will find the pool landscape with one pool and a children's pool in the residence area. In the resort area of the hotel, there is an adults-only pool and another children's pool. Parasols and sun loungers are available free of charge at the pool and beach.
Wi-Fi is available free of charge in all areas of the resort. The hotel's parking spaces can also be used free of charge.

Double Room

The double rooms with sea view feature a bathroom with tub/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, refrigerator, coffee/tea station, air conditioning, safe, and balcony or terrace (D).
These rooms can optionally be booked with a view of the sea (DM/DMI). Also available as triple occupancy with sea view (DRM).
The double rooms are located in the resort area of the hotel.

Double Room Premium

The Premium double rooms feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, refrigerator, coffee/tea station, air conditioning, safe, a double bed, as well as a sofa bed, which are separated by a sliding door. A terrace is also included (PDZ/P2I).
The rooms are located in the resort area of the hotel.

Double Room Premium Private Pool

The Premium double rooms feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, refrigerator, coffee/tea station, air conditioning, safe, a double bed, and a sofa bed. The highlight of the room is the terrace, where the private pool is located (P2N).
The rooms are located in the residence area of the hotel.
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for careful behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, schauinsland-reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Resort Family Room

The resort family rooms are located in the resort part of the hotel. The rooms feature a bathroom with tub/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, refrigerator, coffee/tea station, air conditioning, and safe. The sleeping areas, consisting of a double bed and two small sofa beds, are separated by a sliding door. The terrace offers a view of the garden (XR2).

Junior Suite

Breakfast (7:30-10:30 a.m.), lunch (12:30-2:30 p.m.), and dinner (6:30-9:30 p.m.) served in buffet style. Snacks are available throughout the day from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Various snacks are offered at the "Ammos Snack Restaurant" (11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.). Ice cream is served at "Scoops" (11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.; 2:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.).
Local and selected international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This offer includes soft drinks, juices, coffee, tea, local draft beer, and house wine.
Dinner takes place daily with themed evenings.
Once per week, there is an option to have dinner à la carte. Guests can choose from one of the three restaurants ("Dante's Italian Restaurant", "Eléa Greek Specialty" Restaurant, "Parea" Restaurant). A reservation is required.
Gluten-free dishes are available.
An elegant, casual dress code is required for dinner in all restaurants.

A varied leisure offer provides sporting variety with table tennis, volleyball, mini-football, darts, and boccia. Fitness and aerobics programs are also available. The gym in the Atlantica Beach Resort Residences area can also be used and rounds off the sports offer.

Sports for a fee

Tennis lessons can be taken for a fee. Bicycles can be rented for a fee.
Various water sports (windsurfing, sailing, pedal boats, canoeing, water skiing, jet skiing, banana boat, paddling, parasailing, motorboat trips, catamaran sailing) are offered at the beach for a fee.

Children's program

For our younger guests, there is a mini-club for children aged 4 to 12, a games room, and a mini-disco. A playground and two children's pools provide additional water fun.

Destination information: Climate Resilience Fee

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and has been staggered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room since January 1, 2025.
For stays during the high season (April 1 - October 31):
Land category 1-2 stars: 2 Euro
Land category 3 stars: 5 Euro
Land category 4 stars: 10 Euro
