The family-friendly hotel complex is situated in a quiet area, approximately 4 km outside of Kardamena, located directly on the sandy beach. Numerous restaurants and shopping facilities can be found in Kardamena.
Kos Town is around 40 km away. A public bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel, and the airport is approximately 11 km away.

The 5 star hotel consists of 426 rooms, which are distributed across several bungalow-style buildings. It also features a 24-hour reception, a buffet restaurant, several specialty restaurants, and six bars. A mini-market and a souvenir shop are also available.
The outdoor area features a pool landscape with one pool and one children's pool in the residence area. The resort area of the hotel features an adults-only pool and another children's pool. Sun umbrellas and sun loungers are available free of charge at the pool and beach.
Wi-Fi is available free of charge in all areas of the resort. The hotel's parking spaces can also be used free of charge.

Rooms with a view of the sea are available as an option (DM/DMI). Also available as triple occupancy with sea view (DRM).
The double rooms are located in the resort area of the hotel.

Double room Premium

The Premium double rooms feature a bathroom with walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, refrigerator, coffee/tea station, air conditioning, safe, a double bed/two single beds, and a sofa bed, which are separated by a sliding door. A terrace is also available (PDZ/P2I).
The rooms are located in the resort and residence area of the hotel.

Double room Premium private pool

The Premium double rooms feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, refrigerator, coffee/tea station, air conditioning, safe, a double bed as well as a sofa bed. The highlight of the room is the terrace, where the private pool is located (P2N).
The rooms are located in the residence area of the hotel.
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We kindly ask for prudent behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased potential danger for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, a minimum age of 6 years applies at Schauinsland-Reisen for bookings of these room types.

Resort Family Room

The resort family rooms are located in the resort part of the hotel. The rooms feature a bathroom with tub/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, refrigerator, coffee/tea station, air conditioning, and safe. The sleeping areas, consisting of a double bed and two small sofa beds, are separated by a sliding door. The terrace allows for a view of the garden (XR2).

Junior suite

The junior suites feature a bathroom with tub/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, refrigerator, coffee/tea station, air conditioning, safe, and terrace. The sleeping options, which consist of a double bed and two single beds, are separated by a sliding door (JS2/JSI).

All Inclusive

Breakfast (7:30 am - 10:30 am), lunch (12:30 pm - 2:30 pm), and dinner (6:30 pm - 9:30 pm) in buffet form. Snacks during the day from 11 am - 5 pm.
Various snacks are offered at the "Ammos Snack Restaurant" (11 am - 5 pm). Ice cream is served at "Scoops" (11 am - 12:30 pm; 2:30 pm - 5 pm).
Local and selected international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available from 10 am - 6 pm. This offer includes soft drinks, juices, coffee, tea, local draft beer, and house wine.
Dinner takes place daily with themed evenings.
Once per week, there is the possibility to have an a la carte dinner. You can choose from one of the three restaurants ("Dante's Italian Restaurant", "Eléa Greek Specialty" Restaurant, "Parea" Restaurant). A reservation is required.
Gluten-free dishes are available.
An elegant, casual dress code is required for dinner in all restaurants.

For sporting variety, a diverse range of leisure activities is provided, including table tennis, volleyball, mini-football, darts, and bocce. In addition, fitness and aerobics programs are available. The fitness studio in the Atlantica Beach Resort Residences area can also be used and rounds off the sports offering.

Sports for a fee

Destination information

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is staggered from 0.50 euros to 15 euros per day and room as of January 1, 2025.
