Location

This intimate, refined boutique hotel is located at the entrance to Agia Galini. Its hillside position offers a breathtaking view of the Libyan Sea, the Bay of Timbaki, and the Ideon mountain range on the opposite side.
From the hotel, the beach is just a 5-minute walk to the left. The village and the harbor are also just a few minutes' walk to the right.

This unique and creatively designed hotel opened in 1990. Under the clever and visionary management of the family, the 29 rooms and facilities have been continuously adapted to modern standards, maximizing guest comfort.
In the entrance area, you will find the reception, breakfast area, and a snack bar with a large sun terrace, which is also used for breakfast. A staircase leads down to the "ground area," the pool, and an additional terrace with complimentary sun loungers and umbrellas. Pool towels are also available free of charge. Wi-Fi is included throughout the hotel grounds.

The double rooms are modernly furnished and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, toiletries, individually adjustable air conditioning, satellite TV, safe, and a balcony (D).

Junior Suite Sea View

The junior suites are designed in a Mediterranean style, are larger, and feature the same amenities as the double rooms, plus a small seating area, bathrobes and slippers in the bathroom, and a balcony or terrace with a sea view (J2M/JMI).

2-Bedroom Suite

Featuring the same amenities as the double rooms, these include two bedrooms with double or twin beds, a separate living/dining area, bathrobes and slippers, a separate whirlpool bathtub, and a sea view (S22).

Note on climate resilience fee

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and has been tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room since January 1, 2025.

Arrival by car

From Heraklion airport, take the national road (New Road) towards Heraklion/Rethymnon. Leave the national road at the Moires exit. At the end of the exit, turn right towards Moires and drive under the bridge. Follow the road through the village of Siva and, after Siva, continue onto the new road (follow signs for Moires!). Continue along the road through Agia Varvara and down into the Messara Plain.
Pass through Moires and then through Timbaki, continuing towards Agia Galini.
At the entrance to Agia Galini, after about 100 meters, you will find the Palazzo Greco on the right-hand side.
