Location

The family-run hotel Iolida Beach is located directly on the sandy beach of Agia Marina. Platanias center is about 1.5 kilometers from the hotel, while Chania with its picturesque old town and numerous shopping opportunities is about 8 km away. Chania International Airport is about 22 km away, and Heraklion International Airport is about 160 km away. A bus stop is within walking distance, approx. 100 m away.

The hotel consists of an older section located directly on the sea, and a newer section in the second row from the beach on the other side of the coastal road. Both parts of the hotel are connected by a bridge and are divided into a total of three buildings with 139 rooms. The complex has a reception area with a 24-hour reception, an elevator, a supermarket, and two restaurants. The well-kept outdoor area features two freshwater swimming pools with sun terraces and two pool bars. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available to guests free of charge by the pools and for a fee on the beach. Bath towels can be rented for a fee. Wi-Fi is available free of charge in all areas of the hotel.

Studio

The studios have a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, kitchenette, individually regulated air conditioning, telephone, refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, safe for rent, satellite TV, and a balcony or terrace, and are located in the annex building in the second row from the beach on the other side of the coastal road (S12).
Studios with the same amenities are also available with sea view (SM2).

1 Bedroom Apartment

The apartments, with the same amenities as the studios, have an additional bedroom separated by a sliding door and are slightly larger (A12).

Breakfast (7:30 AM - 10:45 AM) in the "Marina Restaurant", lunch (12:30 PM - 2:45 PM) and dinner (6:30 PM - 9:15 PM) as a buffet in the "Bridge Restaurant".
A selection of snacks from 12 PM to 5:30 PM and ice cream from 10 AM to 11 PM are included.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included at the respective open bars from 10 AM to 11 PM.
Gluten-free, lactose-free, and vegetarian dishes, as well as diet meals, are available upon request.
Appropriate attire is requested.

Note on climate resilience fee

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, payable locally by the guest, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and ranges from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room from 01.01.2025.
