Location

The hotel complex is situated on a private peninsula, surrounded by a 167,000 m² botanical garden, and offers a fantastic view over the sea with its own sand/pebble beach and a designated section on Agia Pelagia beach. The nearby fishing village of Agia Pelagia offers various shops, taverns, and restaurants. A bus stop with connections to Heraklion (approx. 22 km) is located directly in front of the hotel. The airport is around 25 km away.

The high-quality resort consists of several buildings with a total of 410 rooms, some designed in a bungalow style. It features a lobby with a reception, 4 restaurants, 6 bars, Wi-Fi (included), a mini-market (with traditional Greek products), and a high-quality, extensive wellness area. The spacious, beautifully planted garden area includes 4 swimming pools with loungers, umbrellas, and a pool bar, 3 water slides within the complex, and floating water features in the swimming bay. Beach towels, umbrellas, and sun loungers are included at the beach and by the pool. The Minoan Amusement Club offers a varied program for children aged 4-12.

Double Room with Garden View

The rooms feature comfortable furnishings, individually controlled air conditioning, flat-screen satellite TV, Wi-Fi (included), coffee and tea making facilities, house wine and still water upon arrival, soundproofed windows, a safe, a bathroom with a bathtub or shower/WC, hairdryer, make-up mirror, pool towels, bathrobe, slippers, and a balcony with a garden view (D/DI).
Also available as an upgrade with sea view or pool view (DA).

Family Room

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms additionally feature a pull-out sofa bed, a bathroom with a shower or bathtub, and a separate WC. They are more spacious and also have a garden view (DF2/DFI).

Family Suite

Spacious and bright, these beautifully furnished family suites are an ideal accommodation option for families. They are located on the west side of the resort and offer easy access to the Out of the Blue Kids' Minoan Amusement Club and the private Cladissos beach (2F1).

Lifestyle Suite

The spacious suites offer, in addition to all other amenities, a bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and a separate shower (S2/SI). Optionally bookable with an additional bedroom (S22).
Suite guests receive additional amenities such as:
Designated area for private seamless check-in, non-alcoholic welcome shot and wet towel, exclusive access to the designated breakfast area (à la carte buffet), dine around in the à la carte restaurants with culinary delights from around the world (excl. drinks, reservation required, special conditions apply), evening turndown service, welcome fruit basket and bottled mineral water upon arrival.

Exclusive Junior Suite

With all other amenities and features the same, the Junior Suites are located on the 1st or 2nd floor and have a Jacuzzi bathtub in the bathroom, a separate shower, and a whirlpool on the balcony, with sea or garden view (2RJ).

Exclusive Thalassa Suite Sea View

With all other amenities and features the same, the suites are located on the ground or first floor, have a lounge with seating, and offer direct sea views (PSQ).

Exclusive Suite Sharing Pool

With all other amenities and features the same, the suites are located on the ground floor and have direct access to the shared pool via a communal garden (SSH).

Maisonette Private Pool Seafront

With all other amenities and features the same, spread over 2 floors, these maisonettes feature a living room with a dining area, a Jacuzzi and a balcony in the bedroom, as well as a private garden with a pool (heated at a fee) and sea views (M2E).
Also bookable with 3 bedrooms (MT2).

Exclusive Suite 2 Bedrooms

Drinks are available from 10:00 AM to midnight at the bars that are open. Light snacks are also available from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the pool bars and the beach bar.

All Inclusive Lifestyle Collection

When booking the S2 and S22 room categories, you have the option to have breakfast at the Rosemarie Restaurant between 7:30 AM and 10:30 AM in July and August.

Children's program

The 'Minoan Amusement Club' is inspired by the famous sites of the ancient Minoan palaces of Knossos, Phaistos, and Malia. The hotel features a newly designed fairytale land and historical entertainment in a 4,000 m² park for children aged 4 to 11 years.
This unique theme park is a great playground with games and activities based on Greek mythology.

Note on climate resilience contribution

For stays from January 1, 2018 onwards, the Greek government charges a climate resilience contribution, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and, from January 1, 2025, will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day per room.
