Location

The Anissa Beach Hotel, equally popular with families and couples, is ideally located in Anissaras, separated from the long sand/pebble beach only by a promenade path. The lively town of Hersonissos, with its numerous restaurants, bars, entertainment venues, and shopping opportunities, is only about 4 km away. A public bus connection is available about 800 m away. The distance to Heraklion Airport is approximately 23 km.

The extensive, beautifully designed hotel complex has a total of 315 rooms, divided between the main building and the two-story "Knossos" annex, which is situated in the garden. The main building houses a lobby with a 24-hour reception, lobby bar, Wi-Fi (included throughout the entire complex), the main restaurant "La Pergola", a souvenir shop, a boutique, a jeweler, and a hairdresser. In the extensive, blooming garden, which stretches to the beach, there is a mini-market, the buffet restaurant "La Veranda" (lunch and coffee/tea time in the afternoon), the Greek tavern "Elia", an Italian à-la-carte restaurant "Peccato Divino", the "Steak Corner" restaurant, a pizza station, and a crêperie. A small kafenion invites you to linger. Around the freshwater swimming pool with a separate children's pool and pool bar, a sun terrace and many lounge areas under palm trees on the surrounding lawns invite you to relax. Near the sea, you can meet at the street bar; the adjacent wine bar is the ideal place for romantic evenings overlooking the sunset. A spa area with an indoor pool rounds off the offer. Sun loungers, parasols, and beach towels are available free of charge at the pool, in the garden area, and on the beach.

The rooms, renovated in summer 2025, feature a walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, air conditioning, flatscreen satellite TV, telephone, Wi-Fi, rental safe, coffee/tea station, minibar incl. daily refill (soft drinks, still mineral water, beer), welcome gift, farewell gift, and a balcony or terrace (DSU). Optionally bookable with sea view (DMU) for an additional charge or for single occupancy (DSE/DEA).

Comfort Superior Double Room Garden View

Featuring the same amenities as the Superior double rooms, these also include a sofa bed and a bathroom/WC with a separate walk-in shower. They are more spacious and were also renovated in summer 2025. Upon arrival, a welcome drink is provided, and upon departure, there is a small farewell gift (2CD/ACD). Optionally bookable with sea view for an additional charge (CM).
Also optionally bookable for single occupancy (1CD).

Superior Double Room Smile Garden View (bookable from summer 2027)

The Superior Double Room Smile Garden View features a bathroom/WC with a separate walk-in shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, flatscreen satellite TV, telephone, rental safe, sofa, minibar (incl. one bottle of water daily), and a balcony or terrace (DAS).

Suite with private pool

Featuring the same amenities as the suites, these have a private pool (heatable for a fee) and were also renovated for summer 2025 (SP2).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. Please behave carefully and be particularly attentive when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased potential danger for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, a minimum age of 6 years applies for children for bookings of these room types at Schauinsland-Reisen.

Suite

The Garden View Suites are a Schauinsland-Reisen original and newly renovated for summer 2026. Featuring the same amenities as the Superior double rooms, they include a large sleeping area for four people (open plan), a bathroom/WC with a separate walk-in shower, and a balcony (S2).
Optionally, the suites can also be booked with garden view (SA) or sea view (S2M), each with a separate bedroom. These were already renovated in 2025.

Meals

Half board

All meals in buffet form.
Breakfast and dinner in the main restaurant "La Pergola".
Optionally, dinner can be taken once a week in the tavern "Elia", in the à-la-carte restaurant "Peccato Divino", or in the "Steak Corner".
Wearing an identification bracelet is mandatory throughout the entire stay.
Drinks are not included with dinner.

All Inclusive

American breakfast buffet (7:30-10 AM) in the main restaurant "La Pergola". From 10-10:30 AM, a continental late-riser breakfast is offered; early continental breakfast from 5-7 AM (upon request on the previous day).
Lunch at "La Veranda" (12:30-3 PM).
Dinner in the main restaurant "La Pergola" (6:30-9:30 PM). Optionally, dinner can be taken à la carte in the tavern "Elia" (drinks included), in the Italian restaurant "Peccato Divino", or in the "Steak Corner" (drinks not included in each case) (each once per week, reservation required).
At the crêperie, crêpes, waffles, hot dogs, and ice cream are available free of charge from 10 AM-6 PM. Freshly baked pizza is also offered from 10 AM-6 PM at the pizzeria. Traditional Greek drinks as well as "Mezedes" are also offered in the kafenion from 10 AM-6 PM. From 4-5 PM coffee/tea time in the restaurant "La Veranda" with cake and pastries.
Local and selected international non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks are offered from 9 AM-11 PM at the currently open bar.

Ultra All Inclusive

In addition to the services included in All Inclusive, there are the following further amenities: Dinner can be taken unlimited times in the tavern "Elia", in the à-la-carte restaurant "Peccato Divino", or in the Steak Corner (reservation required on the previous day). Freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast, fish menu (once per stay), special Ultra AI drinks menu with further selected international alcoholic brand drinks. The Ultra AI service is available until 12 AM.

Destination information - Climate resilience levy

For stays from 1.1.2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and is staggered from 1.1.2025 from 0.50 Euro-15 Euro per day and room.
