The Anissa Beach Hotel, equally popular with families and couples, enjoys a prime location in Anissaras, separated from the long sand/pebble beach only by the promenade path. The lively town of Hersonissos, with its numerous restaurants, bars, and entertainment and shopping opportunities, is only about 4 km away. A local bus service is available about 800 m away. The distance to Heraklion Airport is approximately 23 km.

The sprawling, beautifully landscaped hotel complex features a total of 315 rooms, divided between the main building and the two-story "Knossos" annex, which is situated in the garden. The main building houses a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a lobby bar, Wi-Fi (included throughout the entire complex), the "La Pergola" main restaurant, a souvenir shop, a boutique, a jeweler, and a hairdresser. In the expansive, flourishing garden area that stretches to the beach, there is a mini-market, the buffet restaurant "La Veranda" (lunch and afternoon coffee/tea time), the Greek tavern "Elia," an Italian à la carte restaurant "Peccato Divino," the "Steak Corner" restaurant, a pizza station, and a creperie. A small Kafenion invites you to linger. Around the freshwater swimming pool, which has a separate children's section and pool bar, a sun terrace and many lounge areas under palm trees on the surrounding lawns invite you to relax. Near the sea, guests can meet at the street bar, and the adjacent wine bar is the ideal place for romantic evenings with a view of the sunset. A spa area with an indoor pool rounds off the range of facilities. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are provided free of charge at the pool, in the garden area, and on the beach.

Superior Double Room

Renovated in summer 2025, the rooms feature a walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, air conditioning, flat-screen satellite TV, telephone, Wi-Fi, rental safe, coffee/tea station, minibar incl. daily refill (soft drinks, still mineral water, beer), welcome greeting, farewell gift, as well as a balcony or terrace (DSU). Optionally bookable with sea view for an extra charge (DMU) or for single occupancy (DSE/DEA).

Comfort Superior Double Room Garden View

With the same facilities as the Superior double rooms, these also include a sofa bed, bathroom/WC with a separate walk-in shower, are more spacious, and were also renovated in summer 2025 (2CD/ACD). Optionally bookable with sea view for an extra charge (CM).
Also available for single occupancy (1CD).

Super Saver Room

Features shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, flat-screen satellite TV, telephone, Wi-Fi, rental safe, mini-fridge, and balcony or terrace (SSZ).

Suite

The Garden View Suites are a Schauinsland-Reisen original and were newly renovated for summer 2026. With the same facilities as the Superior double rooms, they feature a large sleeping area for four people (open plan), a bathroom/WC with a separate walk-in shower, and a balcony (S2).
Alternatively, the suites can be booked with a garden view (SA) or sea view (S2M), each with a separate bedroom. These were already renovated in 2025.

Suite with private pool

With the same facilities as the suites, these also feature a private pool (heatable for a fee) and were also renovated for summer 2025 (SP2).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for prudent behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased risk to small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children booking these room types.

Meals

Half Board

All meals buffet-style.
Breakfast and dinner at the "La Pergola" main restaurant.
Alternatively, dinner can be taken once a week in the "Elia" tavern, the "Peccato Divino" à la carte restaurant, or the "Steak Corner."
Wearing an identification wristband is mandatory during the entire stay.
Drinks are not included with dinner.

American breakfast buffet (7:30-10 a.m.) at the "La Pergola" main restaurant. A continental late-riser breakfast is offered from 10-10:30 a.m., and an early continental breakfast is available from 5-7 a.m. (by prior arrangement the day before).
Lunch at "La Veranda" (12:30-3 p.m.).
Dinner at the "La Pergola" main restaurant (6:30-9:30 p.m.). Alternatively, dinner can be taken à la carte at the "Elia" tavern (drinks included), the Italian restaurant "Peccato Divino," or the "Steak Corner" (drinks not included for both) (1x per week, reservation required).
At the creperie, crepes, waffles, hot dogs, and ice cream are available free of charge from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Freshly baked pizza is also offered from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at the pizzeria. Traditional Greek drinks as well as "Mezedes" are offered at the Kafenion, also from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Coffee/tea hour from 4-5 p.m. at the "La Veranda" restaurant with cake and pastries.
Local and selected international non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks are offered from 9 a.m.-11 p.m. at the currently open bar.

Ultra All Inclusive

In addition to the services included in All Inclusive, the following amenities are provided: Dinner can be taken an unlimited number of times at the "Elia" tavern, the "Peccato Divino" à la carte restaurant, or the Steak Corner (reservation required the day before). Freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast, fish menu (1x per stay), special Ultra AI drink menu with additional selected international premium alcoholic brands. The Ultra AI service is available until 12 a.m.

Destination information: Climate Resilience Tax

For stays starting from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience tax, to be paid by the guest locally, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount is based on the type/category of the accommodation and, as of January 1, 2025, is scaled from 0.50 euros to 15 euros per day and room.
For stays in the high season April 1 - October 31:
