Location

The Atlantica Ocean Beach Resort is located directly on the pebble beach of Maleme. Several restaurants and cafes are within walking distance. Platanias, known for its beautiful coastline and popular with tourists, is about 7 km away. The city of Chania, famous for its historic Venetian old town and old harbor, is only about 17 km from the hotel. The distance to Chania Airport is approximately 34 km.

This beautiful hotel complex, last renovated in 2024, with a total of 356 rooms, offers its guests a lobby with a 24-hour reception, lounge, 2 elevators, a main restaurant "Samaria", 2 à la carte restaurants (Greek cuisine at "Oregano" and Asian cuisine at "Jasmine"), a snack area, 3 bars, a club/disco, a mini-market, a jeweler, and a souvenir shop. Wi-Fi is included throughout the property. In the well-maintained outdoor area, there are 4 swimming pools, the pool bar, and the aqua park with a total of 9 water slides. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach. Bath towels are also available free of charge.

The rooms feature a walk-in shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe, telephone, Smart TV, Wi-Fi (included), mini-fridge, coffee/tea station, and a balcony or terrace (D).
Available at an additional charge are rooms with sea view (DM), with an extra bed (DA), or with an extra bed and sea view (DMA).

Quadruple room

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms offer additional sleeping space in the form of 2 sofa beds and are located in the main building (DB).
Available at an additional charge are rooms with sea view (4VM).

Superior double room sea view

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms have been newly renovated and feature a sea view (DMU).

With the same amenities as the double rooms, the family suites consist of a living/sleeping area and a separate bedroom, and feature an espresso machine as an additional amenity (2FS).
Available at an additional charge are rooms with side sea view (FSS).

Note on climate resilience contribution

For stays from 01.01.2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience contribution, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax.
