Location

The stylish Alexander Beach Hotel & Village Resort is located on the north coast of Crete, directly on a long, gently sloping sandy beach that has been awarded the "Blue Flag," between the holiday resorts of Malia and Stalis. The complex is situated in a quiet beach location, while restaurants, bars, and shopping opportunities can be reached within a few minutes' walk. The center of Stalis is only about 1 km away and is easily accessible on foot. Malia is approximately 2 km away. Heraklion Airport is located about 30 km west of the hotel. The island's capital, Heraklion, and the port city of Agios Nikolaos are each about 33 km away.

The 5-star resort has a total of 359 rooms spread across a main building and several annexes. Amenities include a 24-hour reception, a mini-market, a jeweler, and various dining options. These include the main restaurant "Alexandros," the restaurant, the main bar, the "Plaza" sushi bar, and the Beach Club. In addition, an Italian à la carte restaurant and the Asian restaurant "Lemon Grass" open for dinner.
From summer 2026, the resort will expand its culinary offerings with the new "Alexander Plaza," featuring a modern dining and wine area, a newly designed bar, a family restaurant, and the "Olivia" trattoria.
The extensive outdoor area features four freshwater pools, spacious sun terraces, and a separate children's pool. Refreshments are provided by a pool bar with snacks and the "Apollo Cocktail Bar." Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available to guests free of charge at both the pools and the beach.
Wi-Fi is included throughout the entire complex.

Accommodation

Comfort room with garden view

The rooms are stylishly and comfortably furnished with a marble bathroom including a bathtub or shower/WC, hairdryer, slippers, and toiletries. They are also equipped with individually adjustable air conditioning, safe, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), refrigerator (one bottle of water daily), kettle with coffee and tea (daily replenishment), and a balcony or terrace with seating (D/DA). Upon arrival, a bottle of water, wine, and Cretan pastries are provided.
Available with sea view (DM/DMI) for an additional charge or bookable as a Comfort Beachfront room (D2W).

These beautiful, spacious rooms feature the same amenities as the double rooms, plus an additional seating area, extra-wide glass sliding door with mosquito netting, and garden view (DSU).

Junior suite beachfront with private garden

These particularly comfortable accommodations offer the same amenities as the Comfort rooms, with the addition of a separate WC and a Nespresso machine. They consist of a combined living/bedroom and are located in a preferred position in the Village area, directly on the beach, with a private garden, sun loungers, and a direct sea view (JB2).
A selection of fruit is included upon arrival, and pool towels are ready in the room.

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these family rooms consist of a combined living/sleeping area and are facing the garden (DF2). The family rooms can be located in either the main building or the Village area.

Premium family room

Premium family rooms offer the same amenities as the family rooms with garden view, plus an additional separate bedroom with garden view (2FZ).
Optionally bookable with sea view (2ZF) for an additional charge.

Dream Villa Athene 2 bedrooms beachfront private pool

The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for prudent behavior and special attention when using this area.

Dream Villa Aphrodite 2 bedrooms beachfront private pool

The Presidential Villas are replicas of typical Cretan stone houses. With the same basic amenities as the suites, they feature two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living area. In addition to the spacious design, the large, private infinity pool, direct beach access, and magnificent views are highlights of this room (bookable on request only, V2P).
The infinity pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for prudent behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for children.

Deluxe Bungalow Suite Artemis private pool

These elegant rooms feature the same amenities as the Junior suites beachfront, with a visual partition and, instead of a private garden, a furnished terrace with a private pool and direct beach access (2WW).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for prudent behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for children.

Breakfast (7:15–11:00) and dinner (18:30–21:30) in buffet form with show cooking.
6x per week thematic buffets in the evening.

Climate resilience fee notice

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and has been tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euro per day and room since January 1, 2025.
