Location

The stylish Alexander Beach Hotel & Village Resort is located on the north coast of Crete, directly on the long, gently sloping sandy beach, which has been awarded the "Blue Flag," between the holiday resorts of Malia and Stalis. The complex is situated in a quiet beach location, while restaurants, bars, and shops are within easy walking distance. The center of Stalis is only about 1 km away and can be easily reached on foot. Malia is about 2 km away. Heraklion Airport is approximately 30 km west of the hotel. The island's capital, Heraklion, and the port town of Agios Nikolaos are each about 33 km away.

The 5-star resort has a total of 359 rooms spread across a main building and several annexes. Facilities include a 24-hour reception, a mini-market, a jeweler, and various gastronomic establishments. These include the main restaurant "Alexandros," a Mediterranean restaurant, the main bar, the sushi bar, and the beach club. In addition, an Italian à la carte restaurant and the Asian restaurant "Lemon Grass" open for dinner.
Since summer 2026, the resort has expanded its culinary offerings with the new "Alexander Plaza," featuring a modern dining and wine area, a newly designed bar, a family restaurant, and the "Olivia" trattoria.
The spacious outdoor area features four freshwater pools, generous sun terraces, and a separate children's pool. A pool bar with snacks and the "Apollo Cocktail Bar" provide refreshments. Sun loungers, parasols, and beach towels are available to guests free of charge at both the pools and the beach.
Wi-Fi is included throughout the entire complex.

Comfort room with garden view

The rooms are stylishly and comfortably furnished with a marble bathroom featuring a bathtub or shower/WC, hairdryer, slippers, and toiletries. They are also equipped with individually adjustable air conditioning, a safe, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), refrigerator (one bottle of water daily), kettle with coffee and tea (daily refill), and a balcony or terrace with seating (D/DA). Upon arrival, a bottle of water, wine, and Cretan pastries are provided.
Optionally bookable with a sea view (DM/DMI) or as a Comfort room Beachfront (D2W) for an extra charge.

Junior suite Beachfront

These particularly comfortable accommodations offer the same amenities as the Comfort rooms, with the addition of a separate WC and a Nespresso machine. They consist of a combined living/sleeping area and are located in a prime position in the Village area, directly on the beach, with a private garden, sun loungers, and a direct sea view (JB2).
A selection of fruit is included upon arrival, and pool towels are ready in the room.

The family rooms consist of a combined living/sleeping area and are garden-facing, with otherwise the same amenities as the double rooms (DF2). The family rooms can be located in either the main building or the Village area.

The Premium family rooms feature a separate bedroom with garden view, with otherwise the same amenities as the family rooms with garden view (2FZ).

Dream Villa Aphrodite 2 bedroom Beachfront private pool

The presidential villas are a replica of typical Cretan stone houses. They offer the same basic amenities as the suites, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living area. Beyond the generous layout, the large private infinity pool, direct beach access, and magnificent view are highlights of this room (bookable on request only, V2P).

Deluxe Bungalow Suite Artemis private pool

These elegant rooms offer the same amenities as the Junior suites Beachfront, with an optical partition and, instead of a private garden, a furnished terrace with a private pool and direct beach access (2WW).

Breakfast (7:15-11 am) and dinner (6:30-9:30 pm) in buffet style with show cooking.
Theme buffets 6 times per week in the evening.
When booking half-board, choice between lunch and dinner in addition to breakfast.

Destination information: Climate Resilience Tax

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience tax, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a local tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 euros to 15 euros per day and room starting January 1, 2025.
For stays in the high season (April 1 to October 31):
1-2 stars: 2 euros
3 stars: 5 euros
4 stars: 10 euros
