Location

On the northwest coast of Crete, between Chania and Heraklion, lies the beautiful city of Rethymnon. It is the third largest city on the island and is particularly known for its historic old town and picturesque old harbor. The Macaris Suites & Spa Hotel is located approx. 100 m from the beautiful sandy beach, and the center of Rethymnon can be reached in approx. 1 km. The nearest supermarket is about 500m from the hotel. For hotel guests who wish to explore other cities by bus, the nearest bus stop is about 100m from the hotel. The nearest airport is in Chania (CHQ) and is about 67 km away.

Executive Suite Sea View

With otherwise identical amenities, these are located on the 6th-8th floor (ESM). Can also be booked with 2 bedrooms as a Sea View Suite Type A (2MA).

Information on Climate Resilience Levy

For stays from 01/01/2018 onwards, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which is payable by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax. The amount depends on the type/category of accommodation and will be tiered from 0.50 Euros to 15 Euros per day and room from 01/01/2025.
