The beautiful hotel complex is located directly on the 400 m long sandy beach, which has been awarded the "Blue Flag", in the holiday region of Skaleta. The port town of Rethymnon, with numerous shopping and entertainment venues, is approximately 12 km away. Chania Airport is approx. 79 km away and Heraklion Airport is approx. 69 km away.

The adults-only hotel Creta Royal, which welcomes guests from 16 years of age, has a total of 120 rooms spread over 2 floors, a 24-hour reception, a main restaurant, and a lobby bar with a sea-view terrace. In the cooler months (spring and autumn), guests can also use the indoor pool of the sister hotel, Creta Star.
In the outdoor area, there are two seawater swimming pools, a pool bar, and the "Mistral" tavern. Sun loungers and parasols are available free of charge at the pool and on the beach. Beach towels are also provided to guests free of charge.
Wi-Fi is included throughout the complex.

The comfortably and modernly furnished rooms (renovated in 2023) feature a bathroom/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, centrally controlled air conditioning, satellite TV, coffee/tea maker, safe, telephone, and a balcony or terrace (D/DA).
Optionally available with side sea view (AMS/DMS/DIS) or sea view (DM/DMI/DMA).

Double room Superior private pool

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these feature a furnished terrace with a sun deck and a private pool (U2P).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for prudent behavior and special attention when using this area.

American breakfast buffet (7:15-10:15 a.m.) and early bird breakfast (reservation required) in the main restaurant. Late breakfast and dinner (7:00-9:30 p.m.) in buffet form in the main restaurant with show cooking.
Vegetarian meals and meals for special dietary requirements are available upon request. Please contact the reception for this.
Drinks are not included with dinner.

American breakfast buffet (7:15-10:15 a.m.) and early bird breakfast (reservation required) in the main restaurant. Late breakfast and lunch (12:30-3:00 p.m.) in the "Mistral" tavern. Dinner (7:00-9:30 p.m.) in buffet form in the main restaurant with show cooking.
The tavern also offers snacks from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. as well as coffee, tea, and cake from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Ice cream, waffles, and crêpes are available directly at the beach in the Gelateria of the neighboring hotel, Creta Star, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Additionally, midnight soup and snacks are available from 11:30 p.m. to midnight at the neighboring hotel.
National and selected international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included at the respective open bars from 10:00 a.m. to midnight.
Dinner varies with different theme nights, such as Greek, Italian, and seafood. Once a week during the high season, a BBQ takes place by the pool (weather permitting).
All-inclusive guests receive a fridge stocked with beer, water, and soft drinks upon arrival (1x included), as well as a fruit basket and a bottle of house wine.
With prior reservation, the "Mistral Fine Dining Experience" (7:30-10:00 p.m.) is included once per stay.
Furthermore, a Greek meze (7:30-10:00 p.m.) in the neighboring hotel Creta Star is included once per stay. This offer takes place exclusively in good weather. Advance reservation is also required for this.
Vegetarian meals and meals for special dietary requirements are available upon request. Please contact the reception for this.

Destination information

For stays from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which is to be paid by the guest on site, comparable to a tourist tax.
