The beautiful hotel complex is located directly on a 400 m long sandy beach, which has been awarded the "Blue Flag", in the Skaleta holiday area. The port city of Rethymnon, with numerous shopping and entertainment options, is approximately 12 km away. Chania Airport is approx. 79 km away and Heraklion Airport is approx. 69 km away.

The adults-only hotel (bookable from 16 years of age) Creta Royal has a total of 120 rooms spread over 2 floors, featuring a 24-hour reception, main restaurant, and a lobby bar with a sea-view terrace. In the cooler months (spring and autumn), guests can also use the indoor pool at the sister hotel, Creta Star.
The outdoor area features two seawater swimming pools, a pool bar, and the "Mistral" tavern. Sun loungers and parasols are available free of charge at the pool and on the beach. Beach towels are also available to guests free of charge.
Wi-Fi is included throughout the entire complex.

The comfortably and modernly furnished rooms (renovated in 2023) feature bath/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, centrally controlled air conditioning, satellite TV, coffee/tea maker, safe, telephone, and a balcony or terrace (D/DA).
Also available with side sea view (AMS/DMS/DIS) or sea view (DM/DMI/DMA).

Double Room Superior Private Pool

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these also include a furnished terrace with a sundeck and a private pool (U2P).
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.

All meals served buffet-style.
Vegetarian dishes and meals for special dietary requirements are available upon request. Please contact reception for this.

All Inclusive

American breakfast buffet (7:15 am – 10:15 am) and early-bird breakfast (reservation required) in the main restaurant. Late-riser breakfast and lunch (12:30 pm – 3 pm) in the "Mistral" tavern. Dinner (7 pm – 9:30 pm) served buffet-style in the main restaurant with show cooking.
The tavern also offers snacks from 10 am – 5:30 pm, as well as coffee, tea, and cake from 4 pm – 5 pm. Ice cream, waffles, and crêpes are available directly at the beach in the gelateria of the neighboring hotel Creta Star from 10 am – 6 pm. Midnight soup and snacks are also available from 11:30 pm – 12 am at the Creta Star hotel.
Domestic and selected international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included at the respective open bars from 10 am – 12 am.
Dinner varies with different themed evenings, such as Greek, Italian, and seafood. A BBQ is held once a week by the pool (only in high season and weather-dependent).
Upon arrival, All-Inclusive guests receive a refrigerator stocked with beer, water, and soft drinks (included once), as well as a fruit basket and a bottle of house wine.
With prior reservation, the "Mistral Fine Dining Experience" (7:30 pm – 10 pm) is included once per stay.
Additionally, Greek meze (7:30 pm – 10 pm) at the neighboring Creta Star hotel is included once per stay. This offer takes place exclusively in good weather. Advance reservation is also required for this.

Destination information - Climate Resilience Fee

For stays starting from Jan 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 Euro to 15 Euros per day and room as of Jan 1, 2025.
For stays in the high season (April 1 – Oct 31):
1-2 Star category: 2 Euros
3 Star category: 5 Euros
4 Star category: 10 Euros
5 Star category: 15 Euros
