Location

The Lydia Maris is located in Kolymbia, in the east of the island, approx. 350m from the beautiful pebbled beach. The resort is situated in a very idyllic, green setting covering approx. 24,000 m². There are several shops and tavernas in the immediate vicinity. A public bus stop is located opposite the hotel.

Facilities

The sprawling holiday resort features 205 rooms, a main building, and several smaller annexes surrounded by a beautiful garden. The lovely hotel offers a 24-hour reception, internet corner, Wi-Fi throughout the complex (included), a main restaurant, a grill and pizza restaurant, a bar, and a mini-market. In the outdoor area, there is a swimming pool with a children's pool, sun terrace, and pool bar. Parasols and sun loungers are included at the pool and available for a fee at the beach. Pool towels are available for a deposit.

Accommodation

Double room

All rooms (approx. 26 m²) are comfortably furnished with a bathtub or shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning/heating, mini-fridge (filled with 2 bottles of water upon arrival), radio, 32'' flatscreen satellite TV, coffee/tea making facilities, telephone, safe (for a fee), as well as a balcony or terrace (D). Also available to book as a super-saver room (SSZ) or as a double room for single use (DE/DEA).

Superior double room

The superior double rooms feature the same amenities as the double rooms but are designed more modernly and are slightly more spacious (approx. 30 m²) (DSU).

Deluxe swim-up double room

With the same amenities as the superior double rooms, these also feature a small terrace with 2 sun loungers and direct access to a sharing pool (DWP).
The pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for cautious behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased potential hazard for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for bookings of these room types.

Family room

Located in the semi-basement with the same amenities as the double rooms, these feature a combined living/bedroom area with a sofa bed, a separate bedroom, and a small terrace (DF2). The rooms are connected by a door.

Suites

With the same amenities as the family rooms, these are more spacious and include 2 satellite TVs and 2 air conditioning units (S2).

Sharing pool suite

With the same amenities as the suites, the sharing pool suites feature a small terrace with 2 sun loungers (SSH).

Note on climate resilience fee

For stays starting from 1.1.2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience fee, to be paid by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax.
