Location

The Lydia Maris is located in Kolymbia, in the east of the island, approx. 350m from the beautiful pebbled beach. The resort is situated in a very idyllic, green environment of approx. 24,000 m². There are several shops and taverns in the immediate vicinity. A public bus stop is located opposite the hotel.

Facilities

The sprawling holiday complex has 205 rooms, a main building, and several smaller annexes, all surrounded by a beautiful garden. This lovely hotel features a 24-hour reception, internet corner, Wi-Fi throughout the entire complex (included), main restaurant, grill and pizza area, bar, and a mini-market. In the outdoor area, there is a swimming pool with a children's pool, sun terrace, and pool bar. Parasols and sun loungers are included at the pool; they are available at the beach for a fee. Pool towels are available for a deposit.

Double Room

All rooms (approx. 26 m²) are comfortably furnished with a bathtub or shower/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, individually adjustable air conditioning/heating, mini-fridge (stocked with 2 bottles of water upon arrival), radio, 32'' flatscreen satellite TV, coffee/tea maker, telephone, safe (for a fee), and a balcony or terrace (D). Optionally bookable as a Super-Saver Room (SSZ) or as a Double Room for single use (DE/DEA).

Superior Double Room

The Superior Double Rooms offer the same amenities as the standard Double Rooms but feature a more modern design and are slightly more spacious (approx. 30 m²) (DSU).

Deluxe Swim-up Double Room

With the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, these feature a small terrace with 2 sun loungers and access to a sharing pool (DWP).
The pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We request careful conduct and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with pool/sea access present an increased potential danger for small children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Family Room

With the same amenities as the Double Rooms, these are located on the lower ground floor and consist of a combined living/sleeping area with a sofa bed, a separate bedroom, and a small terrace (DF2). The rooms feature a connecting door.

Suites

With the same amenities as the Family Rooms, these are more spacious and feature 2 satellite TVs and 2 air conditioning units (S2).

Suite Sharing Pool

With the same amenities as the Suites, the Suite Sharing Pool features a small terrace with 2 sun loungers (SSH).

Destination information: Climate Resilience Tax

For stays starting from 1/1/2018, the Greek government charges a climate resilience tax, which is to be paid by the guest on-site, similar to a local tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and has been tiered from 1/1/2025 between 0.50 euros and 15 euros per day and room.
