Location

Located in the resort area of Kolymbia, in a quiet setting, approx. 1.8 km from the beautiful sandy/pebble beach and approx. 800 m from the center. There are numerous tavernas, bars, and cafes here. A shuttle service from the hotel to the beach is offered 4 times daily (included, at 10:15 AM, 10:30 AM, 2:00 PM, and 4:00 PM).

The small, very family-run holiday resort consists of five buildings with a total of 120 rooms. The main building features a lounge with a reception, internet corner (for a fee), Wi-Fi (included in public areas), and a mini-market. The restaurant is located in one of the adjacent buildings within the hotel complex. The outdoor area includes a small garden, a BBQ area, two swimming pools, and a cozy seating terrace shining in a fresh design with two pool bars. Sun loungers and parasols are included on the sun terrace; they are available for a fee at the beach. Bath towels are available for a fee. Additionally, the hotel offers some lounge sofas and chill-out lounges in the outdoor area.

The superior double rooms feature a walk-in shower/WC, telephone, rental safe, Wi-Fi (for a fee; from summer 2026 included in public areas), mini-fridge, flat-screen TV (10 German channels), air conditioning, and a balcony or terrace (2UR).
Can also be booked for single occupancy (1UR/1RU) or as a Superior double room promo (2RP), also for single occupancy (1RP).

Superior double room renovated Dimitri Style

With the same amenities as the Superior double rooms, these were renovated in a new design for summer 2024 and are located in the main building (DAS/3UR).

Superior double room pool side/private garden

The Superior double rooms pool side/private garden have been completely renovated since summer 2023 and are located on the ground floor near the large swimming pool in the rear part of the main building. They feature a shower/WC, hairdryer and slippers, shampoo & shower gel, vanity mirror, air conditioning (included throughout the season), rental safe, satellite TV (55 inch) with HDMI connection, telephone, Wi-Fi (included in public areas), and coffee/tea-making facilities. The terrace offers a small private garden area with comfortable seating. From here, it is only a few steps to cool off in the large swimming pool landscape (DSF).

Superior double room priv. pool (14+ years)

These rooms, renovated in a fresh design since summer 2023, are modernly furnished and feature the same amenities as the Superior double room pool side/private garden, plus an outdoor garden terrace with a small private pool, sun loungers, and seating (U2P) – bookable for ages 14 and up.
Also bookable for single occupancy (U1P/DEB).
The pool is not supervised by a lifeguard. We ask for prudent behavior and special attention when using this area.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access pose an increased safety risk for children.
Therefore, for safety reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen requires a minimum age of 14 for children when booking these room types.

Junior suite private garden renovated

The Junior suites with private garden have also been renovated in a fresh design since summer 2023. They feature the same amenities as the Superior double room pool side/private garden but are more spacious and include a combined living/sleeping area as well as a private garden with a chill-out lounge, terrace with seating, and are located near the large pool (RJG). Also bookable for single occupancy (GJ1)

In the afternoon, there is coffee, tea, and homemade cake 4-6 PM.
National alcoholic (beer, red and white wine, ouzo, and brandy) and non-alcoholic drinks (water, soft drinks) are available to guests from 11 AM to 12 AM at the large pool bar. The small pool bar opens from 6 PM to 12 AM and additionally offers whisky and gin.

Destination information Climate Resilience Fee

For stays starting from January 1, 2018, the Greek government levies a climate resilience fee, which must be paid by the guest on-site, comparable to a tourist tax.
The amount depends on the type/category of the accommodation and is tiered from 0.50 euros to 15 euros per day and room as of January 1, 2025.
