Location

The Valamar Tamaris Hotel is located on the Lanterna peninsula, approx. 13 km from Porec. During the summer season, a daily bus connection to the town of Porec is available. The sea with its pebble, rocky, and sandy beach, as well as a bathing plateau (sunbeds and umbrellas for a fee), is approximately 100 m away.

Facilities

The hotel has 313 rooms spread across four floors with two lifts in the main building, as well as 108 suites and villas in the annex buildings Casa Agava, Casa Palma, and Tamaris Villas. Facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a hotel restaurant, an à-la-carte restaurant on the beach (June–September, not included in the All-Inclusive offer), an Istrian tavern (drinks and snacks only, June–September), a pool bar and lobby bar, each with a terrace, and a freshwater swimming pool with water features and a water slide. Sunbeds, umbrellas, towels, and showers are included here. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel.

Accommodation

Superior Double Room (bookable on request only)

The rooms (DSU) are located in the main building and are equipped with shower/WC, air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, hairdryer, Wi-Fi (free of charge), mini-fridge, safe, and a balcony. Also available for single occupancy with a child (1DS).

Superior Sea Side (bookable on request only)

With the same facilities as the Superior Double Rooms, these rooms are situated on the sea side and also feature a balcony (SMS). Also available for single occupancy with a child (1MS).

Superior Family Room (bookable on request only)

These consist of two Superior Double Rooms with a connecting door and balcony (F2U).

Superior Family Suite (bookable on request only)

The family suites (approx. 38-40 m²) are located in the annex buildings Casa Agava (2FF) and Casa Palma (ASF) and consist of a bedroom and living room. They are equipped with a shower or bathtub/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning/heating, safe, smoke detector, direct-dial telephone, Wi-Fi, LCD satellite TV with children's programs, mini-fridge, and a balcony.

Villa Sea Side with Balcony or Terrace (bookable on request only)

The villas are located in the Tamaris Villas annex and feature 2 bedrooms and a living room with a sofa, as well as 2 bathrooms (1 with a bathtub and 1 with a shower). They are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, mini-fridge, kitchenette, microwave, and dishwasher, as well as a terrace or balcony, and are located on the sea side (V2).

Villa Premium Sea Side with Terrace

With similar facilities to the sea-side villas, the Premium Villas feature a terrace on the sea side and are 55 m² in size. The (V12) units are equipped with a bedroom with 2 single beds, a living area with a sofa bed, and one bathroom. The (V22) units with 2 bedrooms feature 2 single beds in one room and a queen-size bed in the other, a living area with a sofa bed, and either 1 or 2 bathrooms (depending on occupancy).

Double Room

The double rooms are equipped with twin beds, a balcony with a park view, mini-fridge, internet (free of charge), safe (free of charge), flatscreen satellite TV, as well as individually controlled air conditioning (from June to September) and centrally controlled heating. The bathroom is equipped with a shower/WC (approx. 20-23 m², D/D1K).

Double Room Sea Side

With similar facilities to the attractively furnished double rooms, these offer a special location on the sea side (DY2).

Interconnecting Double Room

This consists of two adjacent double rooms with a connecting door. Each room features twin beds and a bathroom with a shower (CI2).

Rich breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet at the Mediterraneo Restaurant. Regular themed evenings during dinner, such as Mediterranean or fish dinners. For lunch and dinner, drinks from the beverage station, including local wine, local beer, water, and non-alcoholic soft drinks, are included. During the day, selected light snacks and drinks at the "Istrian Tavern" are also included. The lobby and pool bar also invite you to enjoy cold drinks during the day.
Maro Club: For children up to 12 years old, refreshing drinks from the beverage dispenser at the bar as well as ice cream are included during the day.

Children's pool, children's playground, cinema, and a separate playroom from 01.06 to 15.09. From 15.06 to 01.09, Maro Club for various age groups:
Maro Baby Club (0-3 years): specially equipped room and outdoor area for parents with small children.
During high season, a babysitting/childcare service is available with 24 hours' notice. Surcharge: 40 € per hour.
Maro Club (3-7 and 7-12 years) with playrooms and activities.
Teen (12+ years): Gaming Zone: Video games, big-screen TVs, sports activities (beach volleyball, table tennis, badminton, etc.), evening program such as beach parties, disco, or cinema night. Go-kart or paintball are offered for an additional fee and only with parents present.
