Spend a relaxing yet sports-active holiday in Maria Alm. The non-smoking hotel Marco Polo Alpina Family and Sports Hotel (altitude approx. 1,000 m) is located in the district of Hinterthal, about 5 km from the centre. Cafés and restaurants are located right next to the property, and the nearest shops are approximately 5 km from your holiday home. In Saalfelden, about 18 km away, the picturesque Lake Ritzensee awaits all water lovers. You can also cool off on hot summer days at the public outdoor pool Sommerstein in Maria Alm, located approx. 8 km away.

In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours. A hiking bus (free of charge) takes you to the directly adjacent hiking area Hochkönig with the Butterfly Trail. The hiking bus stop is approx. 350 m away. You can also reach the Hochmaisbahn cable car after approx. 850 m. You can get active on a bike path located directly at the house while enjoying the landscape.

In winter, the accommodation is especially suitable for alpine skiers, cross-country skiers, and for long winter hikes. With sufficient snow conditions, skiing down to the Marco Polo Alpina Family and Sports Hotel is possible. You will find a ski bus stop approx. 100 m from the property; use of the ski bus is free of charge. A practice lift is available for ski beginners (directly at the house). The cable car in the Ski Amadé ski area is only about 200 m from the house. You can find the nearest cross-country ski trail directly at the house.

In addition to a total of 106 accommodation units, the Marco Polo Alpina Family and Sports Hotel offers a welcoming lobby with seating, a reception, a lounge, and an electric car charging station. Your accommodation consists of a main building and an annex, with the main and side buildings connected to each other. Let yourself be pampered with culinary delights in the à la carte restaurant "Bistro", in the breakfast room, in the restaurant "Ambiente", and in a small lounge ("Stüberl"). You can end an eventful day of holiday at the hotel bar "Hochkönig Bar" in a sociable atmosphere. In addition, a terrace, which is also open in winter, is available for you to relax. A lockable ski and snowboard storage room, which can be accessed from the house, is available for your winter sports equipment.
In summer, cyclists have the option of storing their bicycles in the on-site lockable bicycle storage room. Smoking is not permitted in the entire hotel area.

The apartments consist of a living/sleeping room and have a kitchenette (with microwave, kettle, coffee machine, refrigerator, and dishes). The living/sleeping room has a double bed and a single sofa bed.

Apartment 1 Bedroom

The apartments (A12, approx. 41-45 m²) feature flat-screen televisions with cable TV and integrated radio, direct-dial telephone, seating area, shower, toilet, hairdryer, and a balcony or terrace. The apartments consist of one bedroom, one living/sleeping room, and have a kitchenette (with microwave, kettle, coffee machine, refrigerator, and dishes). The living/sleeping room features a double sofa bed. A double bed is available in the bedroom.
Notes: When booking an apartment, according to the hotel's homepage, it is a family apartment D1 or D2. The D1 apartments are located in the Alpina and have 2 bathrooms. The D2 apartments are in the Hochkönig or the Schöneck buildings.
