Location

The complex is situated on cliffs in a rural area, between the small fishing village of Burgau (approx. 1.5 km) with a bathing cove and the quiet village of Praia da Luz (approx. 3.5 km) with a fine sandy beach. The historic city of Lagos is about 10 km away. There is a bus stop nearby. The Faro airport is about 95 km away.

The popular hotel Quinta do Mar da Luz is characterized by its quiet and idyllic atmosphere. The 92 individually furnished rooms are spread across a main building and several bungalows within the garden complex. Facilities include a reception (not permanently staffed), bar, lounges, and a panoramic terrace with 3 swimming pools (sunshades, loungers, and cushions in the pool area are included).

Studio

The studios have a shower/WC, hairdryer, combined living/sleeping area, air conditioning, satellite TV, Wi-Fi (included), a safe for rent, a kitchenette (including a stove, coffee machine, toaster, small refrigerator, pots, cutlery, glasses, and kettle), and a furnished terrace.

Apartment

The apartments (1 bedroom) have the same amenities as the studios but feature a living room with a sofa bed, a separate bedroom, and a kitchenette. Apartments with 2 bedrooms (two separate bedrooms) can be booked for an additional charge. Apartments with sea view (1 bedroom) can be booked for an additional charge.

Double room

The double rooms have a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, a safe for rent (for a fee), a kettle, and a furnished balcony or furnished terrace. Bookable with breakfast only.

With otherwise identical amenities to the double rooms, the junior suites are more spacious.

Suite

The suites offer the same amenities as the apartments (1 bedroom), but are approximately 10 m² larger.

Apartment 2 bedrooms (FAOA28)

The apartments (A22/22B/A2A) can accommodate up to 4 people and are equipped with two bedrooms, a kitchenette, and a bathroom.
