It features a total of 315 rooms, junior suites, studios, and apartments. Further facilities include a modernly decorated reception, a lobby bar, elevators, and the buffet restaurant 'FLÔR DE SAL', which offers extensive buffets with local gastronomic specialties and weekly themed evenings with special menus, as well as the à la carte restaurant "The Tale" with a view of the promenade. With otherwise the same amenities as the double rooms with side sea view, the double rooms with side sea view on the upper floor (DOS) are located above the 10th floor and offer additional comforts such as bathrobes and slippers, access to the sauna and Turkish bath, as well as early check-in and late check-out (subject to availability).

Double room Deluxe sea view

The double rooms Deluxe sea view (2DM) are approx. 30 m² in size, feature the same amenities as the double rooms with side sea view, but offer a direct sea view and include additional comforts such as bathrobes and slippers, access to the sauna and Turkish bath, as well as early check-in and late check-out (subject to availability) and a seating area. Star tour excursion program (subject to change/daily arrival possible):
Eira do Serrado/Monte (Monday/Thursday): Discover the most beautiful panoramas of Madeira on this half-day tour. From the Pico dos Barcelos height, you can overlook the bay of Funchal and continue to Eira do Serrado, from where you can look down to the bottom of an extinct volcano. At the very bottom lies the village of Curral das Freiras (Nuns' Valley). Continue to Monte, where you visit the Nossa Senhora do Monte church. On the way back, you have the opportunity to ride the traditional wicker sledges. (Not included in the price)
Porto Moniz (Wednesday/Friday): Departure towards Câmara de Lobos (fishing village where the famous Espada – black scabbard fish – is caught). Continue over Cabo Girão (highest cliff in Europe at 580m), and then the path leads us along the coast to Ribeira Brava. From Ponta do Sol, it goes upwards to the Pául da Serra plateau (1400m). Finally, it goes downhill to Porto Moniz to the natural sea swimming pools. The lunch break is taken here. The return trip is via the north coast and leads through Seixal to São Vicente. From there, it goes upwards over the Encumeada pass (1007m), where you can see the north and south coasts simultaneously. Afterwards, return to Funchal.
Santana (Tuesday/Saturday): Departure into the mountains via Poiso towards Pico do Arieiro (1810m). The route then goes downhill to Ribeiro Frio. Here you are in the middle of Madeira's Laurisilva forest, which has been declared a World Heritage Site. The trip continues to Santana, known for its thatched houses. The lunch break is taken here. Afterwards, head to Pico do Facho. Return to Funchal afterwards.
Levada and Botanical Garden (Monday/Wednesday): The 4th and final excursion takes us after an approx. 1.5-hour Levada hike (difficulty: easy) to the Botanical Garden, which is famous for its approx. 3,000 different plant species (entrance fee and guided tour included).
