The Porto Mare Hotel offers its guests the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The hotel features 198 rooms, an elevator, a buffet restaurant, and three à la carte restaurants, various bars, and four conference rooms. The extensively landscaped garden includes two freshwater swimming pools with a separate children's pool and a pool bar. Sun loungers, towels, and umbrellas are included by the pool. Guests can use all facilities of the Suite Hotel Eden Mar and The Residence resort complex.

The rooms (approx. 30-35 sqm) are comfortably and modernly furnished, featuring a bathroom/WC, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, bathrobe, safe (free of charge), Smart TV, telephone, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea making facilities, air conditioning, and a balcony (D). Also available for single use (DE). With a sea view and for single use at an additional charge (DM/DEM).

Superior Double Room Sea View

These rooms are renovated with the same amenities as the double rooms and feature a minibar refilled with water and soft drinks (refilled once upon arrival), a Nespresso machine, and a welcome gift (DMU).
Available for single use at an additional charge (DME).
Also bookable as a Superior Double Room Sea View Type O with a limited contingent and at a special price (UMO).

Junior Suite Partial Sea View

These junior suites are approximately 56 sqm and, in addition to the standard double room amenities, feature a separate sleeping area (sliding door), a kitchenette with a stove, a refilled refrigerator with water and soft drinks (refilled once upon arrival), a Nespresso machine, a microwave, a welcome gift, and a partial sea view (J2S).

Star Tour Excursion Program (subject to change/daily arrival possible):
Eira do Serrado/Monte (Monday/Thursday): Discover Madeira's most beautiful panoramas on this half-day tour. From the Pico dos Barcelos viewpoint, you can overlook Funchal Bay, and then proceed to Eira do Serrado, from where you can gaze down into the crater of an extinct volcano. At the bottom lies the village of Curral das Freiras (Nuns' Valley). Continue to Monte, where you will visit the Church of Nossa Senhora do Monte. On the way back, you have the opportunity to ride the traditional wicker toboggans. (Not included in the price)
Porto Moniz (Wednesday/Friday): Depart towards Câmara de Lobos (fishing village where the famous Espada – black scabbardfish – is caught). Continue via Cabo Girão (Europe's highest sea cliff at 580m), and then the route follows the coast to Ribeira Brava. From Ponta do Sol, ascend to the Paúl da Serra plateau (1400m). Finally, descend to Porto Moniz with its natural swimming pools. Lunch break will be taken here. The return journey follows the north coast via Seixal to São Vicente. From there, ascend over the Encumeada Pass (1007m), offering views of both the north and south coasts simultaneously. Afterwards, return to Funchal.
Santana (Tuesday/Saturday): Depart inland via Poiso towards Pico do Arieiro (1810m). Descend to Ribeiro Frio. Here you are in the heart of Madeira's Laurissilva forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue the journey to Santana, known for its thatched houses. Lunch break will be taken here. Afterwards, proceed to Pico do Facho. Then, return to Funchal.
Levada and Botanical Garden (Monday/Wednesday): The 4th and final excursion takes you on an approximately 1.5-hour Levada walk (difficulty: easy) to the Botanical Garden, famous for its around 3,000 different plant species (entrance fee and guided tour included).
