Location

The Quinta is located approx. 1.5 km from Funchal and not far from the old town. The airport is approx. 18 km away. From the Quinta, built in 1750, you have a magnificent view of the sea and the mountains. The property is surrounded by a large, subtropical garden and features a small lake.

The Quinta Jardins do Lago has a total of 40 rooms and offers a beautiful reception area, breakfast room with terrace, restaurant, bar, lounge, conservatory, library, and a games room. In the beautifully landscaped garden, which delights with over 800 different plant species, you will find a freshwater swimming pool (heatable all year round), a pool bar/bistro, sun terrace, and whirlpool. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and pool towels are naturally included here.

Double room garden side

The double rooms on the garden side are approx. 42 m² and feature a bathroom, WC, hairdryer, cable TV, telephone, safe for rent, minibar, USB port, air conditioning/heating, extra bed for the 3rd person, and a terrace (located on the ground floor). Also available for single use as a double room garden side.

Double room Superior

The Superior double rooms have the same facilities as the double rooms on the garden side, are approx. 46 m² and feature a balcony with garden view. Additionally available for single use (DSE).

Junior suite

The junior suites are larger than the double rooms (approx. 62 m²) and feature a bathtub and shower, balcony, and garden view. Located in the old manor house (no lift!) with a beautiful garden.

The suites are approx. 80 m² and feature the same facilities as the junior suites, but include a larger balcony as well as an additional living room and a separate bedroom.

Directions from Funchal Airport (FNC):
From the airport, take the expressway towards Funchal/Camara de Lobos/Ribeira Brava. After approx. 17 km, take the "Sao Roque/Monte" exit, then turn right again towards "Funchal/Estacao". Keep right. You will reach a roundabout; continue straight ahead (2nd exit). On the right-hand side, you will see a "Hypermarket". Turn left at the first opportunity; you will see a road sign for Quinta Jardins do Lago. On the right-hand side, you will find the 'Unisolmatec' shop. Turn left and after approx. 50 m turn left again. After a few meters, you will see your hotel.
