Location

The Quinta Bela São Tiago, built in 1834, is located in a quiet area on the edge of the beautiful old town of Funchal and is surrounded by 5700 square meters of land. The incomparable view from the terrace over the Atlantic Ocean, the bay of Funchal, and the surrounding mountains makes the Quinta something very special. The charming alleyways of the old town with their cafes, bars, restaurants, as well as many beautiful walking paths and viewpoints are just a few minutes' walk away. The São Tiago Fort with its exhibition center is also in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The bus stop, the Monte cable car station, and Funchal's old market hall are also only a few minutes away on foot. Several interesting museums, historic buildings, the city theater, cinemas, parks, and gardens complement Funchal's diverse cultural offerings.

The former manor house has been restored with great care and attention to detail. The hotel has 64 rooms spread over 3 floors, a lift, and a freshwater outdoor pool with panoramic views. Furthermore, Wi-Fi, a sauna, whirlpool, steam bath, and a fitness room are available. The restaurant “O Pórtico” is located in the old part of the house, in the former dining room, and offers a comfortable and cozy ambiance with regional and international specialties. An extensive buffet breakfast awaits guests in the winter garden, where they can watch the sunrise over the city of Funchal.

Double Room Premium Sea View

The double rooms premium sea view are equipped like the double rooms sea view (with balcony) but are located on the top floor. The following additional services are available: coffee machine (Dolce Gusto) with 2 free capsules (on arrival only), bathrobes, slippers, a bottle of water, a bottle of Madeira wine, and a honey cake (2PM). Junior Suite Sea View

Every year, the famous FLOWER FESTIVAL takes place on Madeira - the "Festa da Flor". Admire the elaborately decorated floats and let yourself be swept away by the joy of life.
