The modern and unusual architecture of the new building has been harmoniously integrated into the existing garden landscape with its typical Madeiran manor house. In 1999, the Quinta was awarded the Funchal Architecture Prize. Following expansion work in 2002, the hotel became the only one on Madeira to be accepted into the exclusive "Small Luxury Hotels of the World" group. The Quinta features a modern guest room wing (hotel building) with 43 rooms (29 double rooms garden side, 12 double rooms premium, 2 suites), which is located in a two-story, fully glazed low-rise building, as well as the newly renovated manor house, which houses the 5 Manor House suites and 1 separate villa. Facilities at the complex include a reception area, Wi-Fi (included), the "Garden Pavillion" restaurant, where breakfast is served buffet-style, and the Casa da Quinta, where lunch is offered from 12:00-15:00, dinner from 18:30-22:00, snacks from 11:00-22:00, and drinks and cocktails from 11:00-23:00. The "The Dining Room" restaurant (located in the manor house, upscale culinary concept) is available for dinner for a fee from Tuesday to Saturday from 19:00-21:30. There is also a small library in a large, cozy lounge area as well as various seating areas in the main building and the manor house. In the subtropical gardens, there is a heated freshwater swimming pool and a sun terrace, as well as an additional "Adults Only Pool" with a sunbathing area by the manor house (sun loungers, cushions, and parasols are included).

Double room garden side

The double rooms garden side are approx. 37 m² and feature bath/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, twin beds, air conditioning, cable TV, telephone, minibar, Nespresso coffee machine, safe (included), Wi-Fi (included), and a furnished terrace (2DG).

Double room premium

The double rooms premium have the same facilities as the double rooms but are larger (approx. 55 m², incl. balcony/terrace). They feature a bathtub and walk-in shower and are equipped with a queen-size bed (1.60 m wide), a separate dressing area with a large wardrobe, and a furnished balcony or terrace (PR2).

Suite Manor House

The suites in the manor house are individually furnished, approx. 86 m² (including balcony/terrace) in size, and feature marble bathrooms with bathtub and shower cubicle/WC, scales, twin beds, telephone, minibar, safe (no charge), air conditioning, Wi-Fi (included), hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, turn-down service, Nespresso coffee machine, tea/coffee maker, and a separate living room. All suites have a balcony or terrace with sun loungers and chairs (2MH).

Suite Deluxe

The suites deluxe are approx. 110 m² (including balcony), located in the hotel building, and feature a bedroom with a king-size bed (2m x 2m), large marble bathroom with double vanity, whirlpool bathtub, separate walk-in shower cubicle, WC, hairdryer, scales, bathrobes, slippers, and turn-down service, separate living room, cable TV, telephone, minibar, safe (no charge), air conditioning, Wi-Fi (included), and Nespresso coffee machine. All suites have a furnished balcony with sun loungers and chairs (S2D).

BB/HB

Breakfast buffet in the Garden Pavillion from 7:30-10:30.
Dinner as a menu at "Casa da Quinta" restaurant from 18:30-22:00; table d'hôte (3-course menu: appetizer, main course with a choice of fish or meat, as well as vegetarian dishes upon request) and dessert, or à la carte (for HB guests, a credit is applied to the final bill).
"The Dining Room" restaurant from Tuesday to Saturday from 19:00-21:30: The restaurant currently offers two tasting menus, one with 6 courses and one with 9 courses (for HB guests, a credit is applied to the final bill). Smart casual dress code (no sneakers, no T-shirts, no shorts). Fixed time slots for dinner can be reserved at check-in to ensure the best possible service.

Sports for a fee

The hotel offers guests a 30% discount (booking at the hotel reception) on green fees (1x 18 holes per day) at the Santo da Serra Golf course and 25% at the Palheiro Golf course.

Wellness

The "Frangipani Spa" wellness area offers a sauna, whirlpool, steam bath, and separate men's and women's changing rooms free of charge. Beauty treatments and massages are available for a fee (reservation/appointment required). Access to the Health Club & Spa area is restricted to guests aged 16 and over.

Arrival by car

Directions from Funchal Airport (FNC):
From Funchal Airport, please take the expressway for approx. 17.5 km in the direction of Funchal and then take the "Hospital/Porto" exit. At the exit, turn left, pass a 'Repsol' gas station until you reach the roundabout. Please take the second exit at the roundabout. You are now on the Avenida Luis Camoes; turn right at the first possible street at the last traffic light. After turning into the first street on the right after the traffic light, turn right again and continue to the roundabout; take the 3rd exit to the left of the roundabout (towards Rua da Casa Branca). Drive for approx. 100 meters, and you will see the Quinta da Casa Branca on the left side.
