Location

The property is situated on a hill with a great view of the Atlantic Ocean, in a residential area (village complex) and is part of the Palheiro Nature Estate. The "Palheiro" garden is about 3 km away, and the city center is only about 7 km away. The airport is approximately 13 km away.

The complex has a reception located in the Palheiro Village Forum building, open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 6 pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am to 5 pm at the Palheiro Golf reception. There is also a multi-purpose room, the "Sala Carvalhal", equipped with chairs, a television, a billiards table, a dartboard, a terrace, and a communal swimming pool.
Several dining options are available near Palheiro Village: the restaurant at the Hotel Casa Velha do Palheiro, the Vista Balancal restaurant (at Palheiro Golf course), and the Casa de Chá in the heart of the Palheiro Gardens.

Apartment with sea view (1 bedroom)

The apartments (1 bedroom) are approximately 75 m² and feature a bathroom with shower, toilet, and underfloor heating, a separate bedroom, a spacious living room with a dining area, built-in wardrobes, a flat-screen TV, a DVD player, a kitchen (fully equipped with dishwasher, washer/dryer, stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, dishes, pots, pans, etc.), a wood-burning fireplace (in some units), Wi-Fi (included), and a terrace (2AM).

Apartment with sea view (2 bedrooms)

The 2-bedroom apartments are approximately 120 m² and have the same amenities as the one-bedroom apartments, but with two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms (22M/M21/M22/M24).
Also available with three separate bedrooms for an additional charge (33M).

Villa with sea view (3 bedrooms)

The villas (3 bedrooms) are located in the middle and upper parts of the complex, are approximately 250 m² in size, and have the same amenities as the one-bedroom apartments, but with three separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (33M).

No meals included/Room only. Buffet breakfast at the Casa Velha do Palheiro restaurant. Shuttle service from Palheiro Village Hotel to Casa Velha do Palheiro Hotel and back is included (subject to availability).

The 'Palheiro Golf' course (18 holes, par 72) is approximately 500 m away.

Wellness

'Palheiro Spa' wellness area (entry fee applies) at the Hotel Casa Velha do Palheiro (open daily from 10 am to 7 pm) with a fitness room, heated indoor pool with hydromassage jets, Finnish sauna, and Turkish bath. Massages and beauty treatments are available for a fee. Towels and bathrobes are available at the spa reception. After 1 pm, children under 16 are not allowed in the entire spa area.

If no damage is reported within 48 hours after check-out, the credit card will not be charged.

Guests arriving after 6 pm will be greeted at the entrance of Palheiro Village by the security guard on duty from 6 pm to 9 am. The security guard will hand over the keys and direct guests to their accommodation.

Seasonal information

Every year, the famous FLOWER FESTIVAL takes place in Madeira - the "Festa da Flor". Admire the elaborately decorated floats and let yourself be swept away by the joie de vivre.
