The Playa de la Luz hotel, furnished in an Andalusian style, is located directly on the beach, nestled between pine forests and dunes, right next to the Los Corrales natural monument. The centre of the beautiful town of Rota, with its restaurants, shops and bars, is just approx. 2 km away.

Built in the style of a Spanish hacienda, the hotel has a total of 231 rooms. Facilities include a lobby with reception, a souvenir shop (in high season), a buffet restaurant, an à la carte restaurant and a lounge. In the hotel's garden area, there is a swimming pool (freshwater) with a separate children's pool, a sun terrace with a sunbathing area, and a pool bar. Sun loungers and parasols are available free of charge. From mid-June to mid-September, a chill-out bar, a beach bar and the Beach Club are available on the beach, weather permitting (1x saltwater pool / €5 entry fee per room per day, adults only). Beach loungers are free except from June to September (approx. €6 per day).

Double room

The double rooms are equipped with a shower or bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, heating, air conditioning, minibar, Smart TV, rental safe, Wi-Fi (included), and a terrace or balcony (D). Also bookable as a double room for single use (DE). From summer 2027, also bookable as a double room with balcony/terrace; these rooms are more spacious and feature both a balcony and a terrace (DT2).
(Additionally bookable under XRYA12 (D/DBK/DB/DC), with 3 adults (DR) or super saver room with separate allotments (SSZ/SSE/SZC/SSR)).

Double room Superior

The Superior double rooms have the same facilities as the double rooms, but are larger, feature a bathtub and massage shower in the bathroom, a separate WC, and are mostly located on the 1st floor with a view of the pool or patio (DSU).

Junior suite

The junior suites have the same facilities as the Superior double rooms, but with a separate living/bedroom (mostly consisting of two rooms, partly also of one room) (JS2).
(Additionally bookable under XRYA12 as JS2, type B (J2B) or saver junior suite with separate allotments (JSS) – all with combined living/bedroom (ONE room)).

Studio

The cosy studios, renovated in 2019, offer approx. 35-40 m² of space and also feature a shower or bathtub/WC, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), rental safe, hairdryer, telephone, Wi-Fi, a sofa, and a balcony with seating (S12).

Family junior suite

The family junior suites have otherwise identical facilities to the double rooms, with a bedroom with two single beds, a spacious bathroom with a bathtub, and a living room with two extra beds (FJ3).

The family rooms offer approx. 50 m² of space and are located on the ground floor. They feature a separate bedroom, a living/sleeping area with folding beds, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, bath or shower/WC, telephone, hairdryer, and a terrace (DF2).

Double room Patio Gracia Lorca

The Double room Patio Gracia Lorca has the same facilities as the double room, with a shower and a furnished terrace (DA).
