The Coral Level at Iberostar Selection Bavaro consists of 160 luxurious rooms spread across several two-story bungalows within the newly designed hotel complex. The hotel features a private lobby with a reception, 3 restaurants, a beach restaurant, 2 bars, a swim-up bar (in the Bavaro section), a garden area with a lagoon-style pool landscape, a sun terrace, and a snack bar. Additionally, there is a private beach area with Balinese sun loungers for all Coral Level guests.

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites (approx. 45m²) feature a sleeping and living area with a sofa bed, coffee/tea maker, minibar (daily refill), air conditioning, ceiling fan, safe, high-quality sound system, Wi-Fi, telephone, bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, and balcony (JS2/JS1/KJ1/KJ2/J2B/J1B). Also available as Junior Suite Oceanfront (2JO/1JO) or Junior Suite Pool Access (2YZ/1YZ).

Junior Suite Superior

With the same amenities, these rooms are located near the beach and pool (JU2/JU1). Bookable as Junior Suite Near Beach (JNB, JNE) from November 1, 2023.

Family Junior Suite

The Family Junior Suites (approx. 90m²) have two bedrooms with a king-size bed or two queen-size beds. Bathroom with shower/WC, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, coffee machine, safe, minibar (daily refill), iron/ironing board, air conditioning, ceiling fan, and a balcony with garden view (FJS/FK8/FK9).

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds or one king-size bed (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For occupancy of 2 adults + 1/2 children / 3 adults, no extra beds will be placed in the room; meaning, 2 people per bed, even if extra beds are listed on the confirmation!

Junior Suite Terrace (PUJ292I)

The Junior Suites, approximately 41 m², are equipped with bathrobes and slippers, TV, air conditioning, bathroom with shower/WC, minibar, safe, and terrace (TJS). Optionally available for single use (TJE) or at an additional charge with Oceanfront and Pool Access (CJO/ECJ).

Dinner is available at the à la carte restaurants (without reservation at Coral, with reservation at others), including international alcoholic and local non-alcoholic beverages at the open bars. Notice

Wearing a wristband is required to use the all-inclusive services.
Appropriate attire is requested in the restaurants (no swimwear; in the à la carte restaurants, shirts with short sleeves are required). In the Dominican Republic, sinks or bathtubs/whirlpools may be openly integrated into the general living area of the hotel room without spatial separation.
Features the Winnow system to reduce food waste, 3R equipment for
waste management in hotels, and installed drinking water fountains.
Guests staying in the Bávaro complex can visit the Coral Lab to see and learn about corals.
Thanks to the two coral nurseries in front of the hotel, where we work with our scientific team to restore the reefs.
The hotel has its own composting facility. Organic waste is converted into compost, which we can use for our gardens.
We are part of the country's national mangrove restoration program, and in the
Bávaro complex, we have planted over 19,000 mangroves donated by the Ministry of Environment.
Beehives are being saved and brought to the apiary, which we have in the complex and can be visited by all guests.
In collaboration with the National Aquarium, the Dominican Republic's Environmental Law Institute, and the Blue Flag Program, the National Aquarium saves turtles. Once they reach an appropriate size and health, they are released on the beaches of the Iberostar hotels.

Seasonal information

When staying between April and December, increased occurrences of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, an increased presence of brown algae is often observed in the Caribbean during this period, affecting the beach and sea. The hotel management and local authorities are making efforts to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which can generate some noise.
