The 5-story, 4-star beach hotel has 196 rooms and suites, as well as a 24-hour reception with a lobby and comfortable seating. The "Balam" buffet restaurant provides culinary delights in the morning. The hotel also has 3 à la carte restaurants: the "Deck Restaurant" with international dishes, the "Chianti Restaurant" with Italian specialties, and the "Umami Restaurant" with Japanese dishes. For stays between April and December, increased presence of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased occurrence of brown algae in the Caribbean. This affects the beach and the sea. The hotel management and local authorities are of course endeavoring to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with the municipal administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which generates some noise.
