Location

Located directly on the wide, beautiful sandy beach of Playa Mujeres. Only 10 minutes from Cancun, with numerous restaurants, entertainment options, and a shopping center. Cancun Airport is approximately 35 minutes away.

Facilities

The resort, newly renovated in 2025 and surrounded by tropical mangroves, is for adults only and situated on the white dream beach of Playa Mujeres, comprising 424 suites. For culinary delights, there is an international buffet restaurant, 6 à la carte restaurants (including South American, Mexican, Asian, Italian, Seafood & Steakhouse), and an exclusive à la carte restaurant for Preferred Club guests, a grill, 8 bars & lounges (2 exclusively for Preferred Club guests), and 24-hour room service. Additionally, the Coco Café offers various coffees and snacks. Guests can also use all restaurants and facilities of the neighboring Dreams Playa Mujeres hotel at no extra charge. The large pool landscape with two swimming pools, sun terraces, and a beach bar and swim-up bar invite relaxation under the sun. Umbrellas, loungers, and beach towels are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach. Wi-Fi is free throughout the resort.

Junior Suite Ocean View

Modern and stylishly furnished, the Junior Suites offer a true feel-good atmosphere. They feature an elegant bathroom with a rain shower, high-quality toiletries, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers, air conditioning and ceiling fan, a safe, satellite TV, radio, telephone, Nespresso machine, minibar (daily stocked with water, beer, and soft drinks), a seating area with a sofa, and a balcony or terrace with ocean view (JOV). Also available with garden view (J2G/J1G) or side ocean view (JPZ).

Junior Suite Swim-out

In addition to the same amenities, the Junior Suite Swim-out offers views of the lush tropical gardens or pools, as well as a spacious, furnished terrace with direct access to a semi-private pool. They are located on the ground floor of each building (JSO/JSE).

Preferred Club Junior Suite Ocean View

With the same amenities as the Junior Suites Ocean View, guests receive the benefits of the Preferred Club (access to the new two-story Preferred Club building with a separate check-in lounge and exclusive restaurant with ocean view, including à la carte breakfast, afternoon hors d’oeuvres, and a tasting dinner menu with 5-7 courses – one dinner per room/stay of 3 nights or more included; further dinners at an additional charge of USD 100 per person or USD 135 per person including wine pairing; premium wines included; access to the new private Beach Club). Preferred Club guests also receive complimentary access to the hydrotherapy circuit (1 day per stay). In the Preferred Club rooms (except PCZ), the whirlpool tubs have been replaced with a deep soaking tub located on the elegantly furnished private balcony.

Pref.Club Master Suite Ocean View

In addition to the above-mentioned amenities and the benefits of the Preferred Club, the Preferred Club Master Suite Ocean View offers a breathtaking ocean view. The suites are decorated in a unique style and feature a separate bedroom with a king-size bed with ocean view, a 42-inch flat-screen TV, chaise lounge, two-person hydromassage tub, rain showers, and large double sinks, and a spacious living room with a 46-inch flat-screen TV. Furthermore, the suites offer a private, furnished balcony with a seating area and soaking tub (PMF).
Also available as Pref.Club MS Ocean Front on the top floors of the beach building (QWE) and as Pref.Club MS Ocean Front Private Pool, located on the ground floor and offering direct access to a private, furnished terrace, a large pool, and the beach (PMP).

Note

In the Caribbean, most rooms are equipped with two queen-size beds (approx. 1.40 x 2m). For double occupancy with 1-2 children or 3 adults, no extra beds are placed in the room, meaning occupancy is 2 people per bed, even if rollaway beds are listed on the confirmation!

This requires every user of a hotel room in Mexico to pay a fee to the state locally at the hotel in cash, similar to a tourist tax.

A tourism tax came into effect on April 1, 2021, and currently amounts to a one-time fee of 224 Mexican Pesos or approximately 11 US Dollars per person, regardless of the planned duration of stay in the country.

Alternatively, the tax can be paid in cash upon arrival at the airport. In this case, it is advisable to have the exact amount in Mexican Pesos or US Dollars with you.

No smoking policy

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal information

During stays between April and December, increased seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean during this period, which affects the beach and the sea. Hotel management and local authorities are of course making efforts to clean affected beach sections in cooperation with local administrations. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may cause some noise.
