Location

This spectacular beach resort is located directly on an 800 m long private sandy beach. The offshore, intact coral reef offers excellent conditions for a breathtaking snorkeling or diving experience. The beach is a favorite spot for many kite/windsurfers and sailors, as the steady wind provides perfect conditions. Located in the adjacent neighboring hotel is the 18-hole CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF COURSE, designed by Gary Player. The center of Hurghada, with its downtown area, beautiful shops, and other leisure opportunities, is approx. 60 km away. Hurghada International Airport is located approx. 45 km away.

The Sheraton Soma Bay Resort emphasizes a unique and very luxurious ambiance with its highly distinctive pharaonic-style architecture. The expansive resort features 326 rooms, spread across a main building and several annexes. The spacious reception area includes a lobby and comfortable seating areas. For dining, guests can enjoy the "Bistro24" main restaurant, an Italian à-la-carte restaurant "L'Emporio" (for a fee), the "More Café" (with reservation), and a "Sea View Restaurant" (lunch service only), which is situated between the pool and the beach. A selection of various drinks is available at one of the three bars. Furthermore, the resort offers three different shops perfect for browsing. The spacious garden area features three large swimming pools (heatable in winter) with a pool bar and a separate children's pool. Sun loungers, pool towels, and parasols are included at the pool and on the beach.
Additionally, guests of the Sheraton Soma Bay Resort receive complimentary access to the Soma Splash Aquapark (10 am – 5 pm) next to the hotel, which provides plenty of water fun for young and old.
