Location

The spectacular beachfront resort is located directly on the hotel's own 800 m long sandy beach. The intact coral reef in front of the hotel offers the best conditions for breathtaking snorkeling or diving experiences. The beach is one of the favorite spots for many kite/windsurfers and sailors due to the steady wind providing perfect conditions. The surrounding area invites you to experience the many facets of the Red Sea. Adjacent to the neighboring hotel is the 18-hole CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF COURSE, designed by Gary Player. Hurghada's city center, with its downtown area, nice shops, and further entertainment options, is approximately 60 km away. Hurghada International Airport is approximately 45 km away.

The Sheraton Soma Bay Resort, with its very special pharaonic-style architecture, emphasizes a unique and luxurious ambiance. The sprawling complex features 326 rooms spread across a main building and several annexes. The spacious reception area includes a lobby and comfortable seating. In addition to the main restaurant "L'Abydos Brasserie," offering buffet-style dining, there is an Italian à la carte restaurant "L'Emporio" (for a fee) and a "Sea view Restaurant" (lunch service only) situated between the pool and the beach. The Solar Bay Bar complements the dining options, delighting guests with cocktails and dreamlike sunsets on the terrace. Besides the Solar Bay Bar, the resort has three other bars. Furthermore, the resort offers two shops for browsing, a hairdresser, and an internet corner (for a fee). The generously designed garden area features three large swimming pools (heated in winter) with a pool bar and a separate children's pool. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are included at the pool and on the beach. The hotel also has an internet café and two shops.
Additionally, guests of the Sheraton Soma Bay Resort receive complimentary access to the Soma Splash Aquapark (10 AM - 5 PM) next to the hotel, ensuring water fun for all ages.

The Double Rooms (D) are 34-35 m² and are friendly and brightly furnished. They feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, minibar, air conditioning, bathrobes, coffee/tea maker, and a balcony or terrace.

The Suite Beachfront (F2W) has the same amenities as the Double Rooms but is larger (approx. 80 m²) and consists of a bedroom with a king-size bed, a separate living area, and a bathroom. The rooms feature a terrace or a large balcony and are located directly on the beachfront.

Deluxe Beachfront

The Deluxe Beachfront (BSD) rooms have the same amenities as the Double Rooms but are larger (approx. 85 m²) and consist of a bedroom, a separate living area with a kitchenette, and a bathroom. The rooms feature a terrace or a balcony and are located directly on the beachfront.
