Location

The spectacular beach resort is located directly on the 800 m long private sandy beach. The offshore, intact coral reef offers excellent conditions for a breathtaking snorkeling or diving experience. The beach is a favorite spot for many kite/windsurfers and sailors, as the constant wind provides perfect conditions. Located in the adjacent neighboring hotel is the 18-hole CHAMPIONSHIP GOLF COURSE, designed by Gary Player. The center of Hurghada, with its downtown area, beautiful shops, and other leisure options, is approximately 60 km away. The international airport of Hurghada is located approximately 45 km away.

The Sheraton Soma Bay Resort emphasizes a unique and highly luxurious ambiance with its very special Pharaonic-style architecture. The expansive resort features 326 rooms distributed across a main building and several annexes. In the spacious reception hall, you will find a lobby and comfortable seating areas. For dining, guests can choose from the main "Bistro24" restaurant, an Italian à-la-carte restaurant "L'Emporio" (for a fee), the "More Café" (with reservation), and a "Sea View Restaurant" (lunch service only), which is situated between the pool and the beach. A selection of various drinks is available at one of the three bars. The resort also offers three different shops for guests to browse. The generously landscaped gardens feature three large swimming pools (heatable in winter) with a pool bar and a separate children's pool. Sun loungers, beach towels, and parasols are included at the pool and on the beach.
Additionally, guests of the Sheraton Soma Bay Resort receive free access to the Soma Splash Aquapark (10 am – 5 pm) next to the hotel, which provides plenty of water fun for both young and old.

Meals

As per program

With the meal plan as per program, guests receive half-board as the base meal plan and access to the Sheraton Club Lounge (open from 6:30 am to 10 pm). This includes the following amenities:
- High-speed internet access in the lounge
- Various snacks and drinks in the lounge throughout the day
- Exclusive breakfast in the lounge
Please note that the dress code in the lounge is smart casual.
