The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served by the three bars on board. A small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are also available. From Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

The hotel, built in Moroccan style by the renowned Jaz Hotel group, is located directly on the long private sandy beach of the popular and idyllic Makadi Bay with a beautiful view of the coast. Hurghada Airport is approx. 30 km away. The hotel's own reef invites you to snorkel and dive in the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea. In the immediate vicinity is the Souk Makadi with numerous shops, restaurants, and bars that invite you to stroll. The Aqua Park is approx. 3 km from the hotel.

Facilities

The Jaz Makadina is nestled in a beautiful garden and has 270 rooms spread across several small buildings within the complex. The hotel is also equipped with a welcoming reception, several shops, a buffet restaurant, an à la carte restaurant (for a fee), and various bars. In addition to the show cooking in the hotel restaurant, the "Dine Around" concept of Souk Makadi ensures culinary variety.
The beautifully and spaciously designed garden complex features a pool landscape with two swimming pools (one heated in winter) and a separate children's pool, as well as a pool bar and a beach bar. Additionally, there are two outdoor jacuzzis (adults only) in the outdoor area.
Sun loungers, cushions, umbrellas, and towels are provided free of charge by the pool and on the beach.

The Suite Superior (SU2) rooms have similar amenities to the Double Superior rooms but are more spacious (approx. 47 sqm) and feature an additional seating/sleeping area separated from the rest of the room by a curtain.

The 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course, designed by John Sanford, is located in Madinat Makadi and offers an inviting environment for golf enthusiasts. Guests of Madinat Makadi have access to a golf school where golf equipment can be rented on-site. A driving range and a clubhouse with a pro shop are also available, each for a fee.
