Location

The idyllic village of Dorfgastein impresses with its central location and varied design possibilities. Dorfgastein also offers an impressive mountain backdrop. In addition, some interesting day trip destinations await your visit in the vicinity of Dorfgastein. Particularly recommended are Burg Klammstein, approx. 4.1 km away, and Alpentherme Gastein, 9.1 km away.
As soon as the first snowflakes have fallen, Dorfgastein shows its winter splendor. Due to its proximity to the Ski Amad'e ski area with its approximately 860 kilometers of slopes, the main focus is naturally on winter sports. Skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, and ice stock sport are just some of the activities you can enjoy. At the same time, there is an opportunity for snow tubing. The snowy landscape can be admired on a winter hike with or without snowshoes, or on a ski tour. Sledding is also great fun.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours. The Gasteinertal hiking area is located directly at the house. The hiking bus stop is approx. 500 m away. The Dorfgasteiner Bergbahnen cable car is also approx. 500 m away. You can be active on a bike path located directly at the house and enjoy the scenery at the same time.

In addition to a total of 30 residential units, the smartHotel offers a welcoming lobby with seating areas, a reception, a lounge, and an e-bike charging station. Your accommodation consists of a main building and an annex building, with the main and annex buildings being approx. 100 m apart. Let yourself be pampered with culinary delights in the "smartRESTAURANT" restaurant. You can end an eventful holiday in the "smartBAR" hotel bar in good company. A terrace is also available for relaxation. Cyclists can use the hotel's own bicycle storage room. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.

Apartment

The spacious and bright "smartFLAT M" apartments (AP, approx. 40 m²) feature a flat-screen TV with cable TV, a seating area, a dining area, and a bathroom (shower, separate toilet), and some have a balcony. The apartments consist of 2 bedrooms and have a kitchen (with stove, coffee machine, dishwasher, dishes, and oven). The first bedroom has a double bed. The second bedroom also has a double bed.
NOTE: For bookings made by July 5, 2024, the final cleaning fee is payable on site! €30 per unit per stay.

Dorfgastein

Season Note

The 5 resorts of Salzburger Sportwelt, Großarltal, Hochkönig, Gasteinertal, and Dachstein together form the Ski Amade ski area, for which only one ski pass is needed for all resorts. The winter sports area offers perfectly groomed slopes. With floodlights, the slopes can also be wonderfully skied at night. Various restaurants and, of course, après-ski opportunities provide sociability off the slopes and for warming drinks and snacks in between. A snow park and a toboggan run also promise a lot of fun.
