The stylish Das Balance Spa & GOLF Hotel am Wörthersee is located in a quiet area in Pörtschach am Wörthersee, approximately 650 m from the centre. Cafés, restaurants, and shopping facilities can be reached in about 500 m. The idyllic landscape surrounding Lake Wörthersee is perfect for both long walks and hikes, as well as winter hikes along the lake. Popular attractions and sights in the region include the Pyramidenkogel (approx. 15 km), Minimundus (approx. 8 km), and the Pörtschach lido (approx. 1.5 km). The Gerlitze mountain railway, offering diverse leisure and winter sports options, is approximately 12 km away.

Opened in 2016 and partially renovated in 2022, the hotel impresses with modern comfort and an inviting atmosphere. The 60 rooms are complemented by stylish communal areas, including an elegant lobby with a fireplace, a sunny terrace, and an on-site wine cellar. Indoor and outdoor pools are available for relaxation. Culinary highlights include a breakfast room, a main restaurant, and the exclusive gourmet restaurant "La Balance" (for a fee, by reservation), which is ranked among the best in Austria. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. For active guests, the hotel offers a lockable bicycle storage room and a separate ski room. Three elevators ensure convenient access to all floors. The reception is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

All rooms emphasize warm colours and timeless elegance, following the motto: Carinthian cosiness meets Dolce Vita. The double rooms (approx. 33 m²) consist of a bedroom with a double bed, bathroom with shower and separate WC, hairdryer, minibar (for a fee), safe (included), satellite TV, telephone, and a balcony (D).

Double room Superior

With the same features as the double rooms, the superior double rooms are larger (approx. 37 m²) (DSU). Also available as type B with an additional living room with a double sofa bed for a third person and with a balcony or terrace (DSB).

Suite

With the same features as the superior double room type B, the bathroom has either a shower or bathtub, and the suites are slightly more spacious at approx. 38 m² (S2).
