Location

The hotel, privately owned since 1998 and a member of "Leading Hotels of the World," offers views of Mount Teide and the ocean. It is situated in the "La Paz" villa district of Puerto de la Cruz, very close to the Botanical Garden. From the hotel, you have magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean with its picturesque coastlines, the Orotava Valley, and Mount Teide.
Hotel Botánico is surrounded by a beautiful 25,000 m² park.
The center of Puerto de la Cruz and the beach are just a few minutes from the hotel. A complimentary shuttle bus service to these locations is provided by the hotel.
The renowned Loro Parque, home to the world's largest parrot collection and a penguinarium, is owned by the same proprietor as the hotel, is quickly accessible, and is a must-visit on any tourist itinerary.

The hotel will undergo partial renovations in 2025 and features 212 comfortable Deluxe Rooms and Suites. The buildings are divided into a family area and an adults-only area, with all hotel services equally available to guests in both. The spacious lobby connects to the breakfast area with beautiful garden views and a terrace. It also houses a permanent exhibition of paintings by Canarian artists, boutiques, a reading corner with a library, and a billiards room. In the center of the subtropical gardens, there is 1 heated freshwater pool with loungers, umbrellas, and cushions, as well as a separate children's pool. Integrated directly into the hotel's gardens is an 18-hole putting green covering 5,000 m², complete with a bunker and driving range (for a fee). In addition to the pool bar/snack restaurant "Palmera Real," guests can choose from 4 à la carte restaurants: "The Oriental" offering Asian cuisine, "Il Pappagallo" with Italian/Mediterranean dishes, "La Parrilla" serving Spanish specialties, and "Brunelli's Steakhouse" in Puerto de la Cruz. Guests opting for half-board receive a credit of €25 per person at Brunelli’s, and the hotel provides transfer to this restaurant.

The comfortably and elegantly furnished Double Rooms (approx. 30m²) are equipped with two beds or a double bed, a furnished balcony, free high-speed Wi-Fi and telephone (for a fee), individually controlled air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), Smart TV, remote control, digital safe (free of charge), and an elegant bathroom with a separate shower and bathtub, including a bathrobe, slippers, and hairdryer. They offer garden view (DGD). Also available for single occupancy (G1Y).

Superior Double Room - Adults Only

Bookable for guests aged 16 and over.
The approximately 45m² renovated rooms are located on the first floor of the hotel and feature a king-size or 2 twin beds (customer request), a sofa bed, a 49‘‘ Smart TV, tea and coffee making facilities, a bathroom with shower/toilet, and a dressing area connected to the bathroom, as well as a balcony.
The rooms can be booked with Teide view (DTU) or sea view (DMU).
From 1.4.26, rooms with Teide view are also available as Type B, bookable only with half-board (B2T), or with sea view (UMB).
Optionally available for single occupancy (E1T/DME).

Ambassador Junior Suite

Same amenities as the Deluxe Double Room Spa View.
These rooms are particularly spacious at approximately 47m² and are elegantly furnished, featuring a larger bathroom with a separate shower and bathtub, a trouser press, a dressing room, a cozy seating area, and a Nespresso coffee machine.
They also include a furnished balcony with a view of the spa or garden (AJ2).

Penthouse Double Room - Adults

Bookable for guests aged 16 and over.
These rooms are approximately 45m² and are located on the 5th floor of the hotel.
They feature a luxurious bedroom with a seating and work area, as well as a private terrace (approx. 16m²) with a hammock, perfect for relaxation. Additionally, they include a Nespresso capsule machine (daily replenished), a bathroom with a whirlpool, daily access to the spa's thermal circuit, a safe, air conditioning, a bathrobe, slippers, and two 55" Smart TVs (P2).

Penthouse Suite - Adults Only

Bookable for guests aged 16 and over.
Equipped similarly to the Penthouse Double Rooms, but with a living room and a separate bedroom. The rooms are approximately 83m² and feature a private terrace (approx. 68m²).
Additionally, they include a luxurious wooden dressing room. The large bathroom is made of Italian marble (PHS).

Senator Suite - Adults Only

Bookable for guests aged 16 and over.
These rooms are approximately 68m² and impress with their oriental influences.
Additionally, they feature a separate living and sleeping area, divided by a door. With a furnished balcony or terrace, Nespresso capsule machine (daily replenished), pillow menu, 24-hour room service (for a fee), two 55" Smart TVs, a safe, and daily access to the spa's thermal circuit. They also include air conditioning, a bathrobe, and slippers. These rooms offer Teide view (2TS).

A rich buffet of cold and hot dishes for breakfast.
Lunch or dinner is served as a 3-course menu in 4 à la carte restaurants (the menu can be customized) or at the external steakhouse "Brunellis," where guests on half-board receive a credit of €25 per person.

The "Royal Golf Club of Tenerife-El Peñon," founded in 1932 with a par of 71, is just 15 minutes from the hotel.

Facilities include thermal pools with experience showers, aromatherapy zone, ice grotto, hammam, oriental laconicum, Japanese sauna, cardiovascular fitness room, whirlpools, an indoor pool (34°C), and an outdoor pool (28°C) with hydromassage.
